  1. 1. If you see unattended CAsh cards...

    • Take it after careful scrutiny that you are under no surveliance?
    • Leave it alone?
    • Take it and leave a note for the owner to facilitate returning it?

Just wondering, if you had spotted a cash card on a bike which is unattended like in a big carpark of a big Shopping centre like MS or Taka, what would you do?

Think i'll take it... and give the $$ to charity... like that.... do some good deeds for the guy.. and won't benefit myself or any other that get the card.... right??

The fact that there are too many people who got their cashcards stolen, only goes to fuel the revenge mentality... Well I would take the cashcard too, since I've "contributed" quite a few cashcards over the past year... :pity:

thanx to doreamon for keeping my cashcard safe all the time

Shouldn't you refrain from causing such anguish and bitterness to others....since you already had a first hand experience of how much it hurts to have one's cash card stolen???....

Well, I used to take other's cashcard sometime back when i was still on my courier dispatch job on a 2b bike. It becomes like an exchange system. PPl take mine I take theirs and it turns out fair. However, after I quit the job, I stopped and I would even go to the extend to keep the cashcard and leave a note for the owner to seek me out. Recently, I caught someone taking my card and i caught him.... After rationalising and calming down, I walked up to him and told him to get lost...

Look at it on another point of view, I was so pissed that I almost wanted to turn him in and sue him until he pay for it with a jail term, over a $5 or so cashcard theft charge.

For those who voted to take the card, I ask, is it worth the penalty? For revenge or whatever?

Yah true... next time if u have a bad day... just leave your cashcard there and stand aside... and wait for someone to attempt to take the cash card.... then walk up to them and give them a piece of your mind... and a piece of every pissed things u've kana...

Guyver, I didn't do this to educate all on how to entice others into crimes but its is wrong of us to take other's possession. I may have erred in the past but I am also making up for it by helping others not lost their's through temporarily keeping for them. I swear the next I caught doing it is going for the big time and hopefully the person is not from this forum or any others I have been to...

I do hope at least those in this forum can take heed and either leave it alone or leave a note after taking it. Everybody's money don't come easy, so let's respect it and spread this to the rest of the biking or non biking community in SG...

BTW, I did had a bad experience of someone who cut the wire, smashed my windscreen and stole my entire ERP IU away just because I've locked my NTUC linkcard/cashcard in the IU for convenience during my dispatch stint... I was pissed and upset because the card bears a special meaning to me from my father, not to mentioned that it was also my ATM card... :pity: One of the major reasons why I decided to stop my erroneous acts...

i will take it n EXchange my $0.05 cashcard inside the IU....
