If Buyer has no class 2, then laid up and transfer to you at LTA. Owner is fine with this arrangement. I did that before many yrs ago.

Hi, you dont have to lay up the bike. You can have it transferred to your name and even parked at your place, so long as you buy insurance for the bike. Insurance coy only interested in your 2B test date.

 

This was what the buyer of my ex bike did.

 

Of course you will need to ask the seller or someone else to ride the bike to your place.
