On Saturday, I visited certain well known shop to most bikers here at the west to replace a melted fuse on my fireblade. Horrendous experience. The usual mechanic is busy handling other bike. Shop closes soon as it's 6.30pm and no way I can wait for him, was given a horrifying mechanic, who is totally clueless about fireblade even tho it's a relative common sport bike here in Singapore.

1. Was unable to locate the allenkey hole screw underneath the rider seat, open the pillion seat cover to find the handle pull. The moment I saw his cluelessness, of such simple thing, I knew I have to keep a tight look.

2. Opened the rider seat finally and was creating fire spark out of the relay/fuse like thing and laughing about it with another mechanic. Then told me right in my face he was testing if the electrical component is working with the spark. **** you, if I believe u, then my 3 years in poly to be a certified diploma holder is more useless than my 2 years afterwards. My bike was known to have lots of electrical problems. What if u burn and damage more wire? My fireblade is not ur set of Lego toy to play and laugh about.

3. Was unable to put on my fairing properly at the end of the work. Only discover it 2 days later when I ride to work in the morning. (Will upload picture of how he put up my left cowling when I reach home)

If I take out the fairing, put it back myself correctly, some scars, scratches will definitely remain.

If the mechanic have lesser knowledge of my vehicle, what's the point of my seeking a mechanic? I could just do everything myself with the cbr400 manual. On top of that, he's treating my bike like a Lego set toy. Changing a 10ampere tiny fuse at the fuse box cost 30 dollars. For its workmanship, not the fuse itself as I requested for the receipt.

I'm going to a different bike shop to seek the root of my short circuit problem causing the fuse to melt. If the problem is related to the fire spark he made, what are the chances of me getting any compensation? Scratches on my fairing, it's a new paintwork I painted during the cny period, this will most properly mark the first scratch since the new spray, any chance of me getting any cover out of this?

Small problem to big problem. Time to blacklist. What the hell man. Not being complaint king or what, but bad things always happen to me when I'm servicing my bike..
