well school training is from outside training, well our girls training not as tough as school la. Anyway u from NP ah..

Any Singapore National Team member here? How do they select the rowers? Does thier training as tough as those comando?

yes NTeam training are tough dun under exmine them. They are mainly low profile, they hardly disclose their ID

Hmmm,...am wondering how they select National Team? Volunter or select those telented rowers from local team. Haven't been the to race for a long time. Is the international race still monopoly by Indonesia Team?

well erm... how they select the NTeam i dunno maybe u can choose to join by see whether they wan u anot. For international race wise i am not too sure izzit still hold by indo team cause most of the time i only go for inter club race or asia race.

Nolah, don't think I can join anymore, don't have that Stamina/endurance anymore. Maybe during weekend bring my 2 kids to walk walk see see. When I was involved last time...Indo is the regular Champion in Penang, Singapore and Hong Kong Leg. Those close to their standard one usually from New Zea Land and China. Those Indo rowers are all full timers, and that is their rice bowl as well. You might notice their even body size and height. And their rowing stroke is one of those local of oversea team that like to copy...I notice now most team prefer to squard rather than usual sit during rowing.

haha... well never say old to urself, my team do have some older adults rower and of cause you dun compare them to the youngster la. I mean stamina & endurance can train up wat, all u need to just to think postive and this also help the younger gen to knoe a sport that most school do not offer.

Dragonboat is a physical demanding sport.

Rowing itself is not that aggressive

but its usually the physical training part
