Recondition/repair of helmet

Hello bikers,

I would like to find out anyone have lobang for helmet repair and reconditioning. I wanna buy a rare helmet but condition is really bad. No suitable for riding.

The repair would be replacing the internal sponge between the forms and fabric. Changing of new cushion too.

Any advise on which shop or bikers is doing this?

first of all instead of repairing the inner lining and cushion, the most important thing is to check the integrity of the helmet. if u fall *touchwood* you do not want a compromised helmet that is brittle overtime to be protecting your head.

 

anyway u can do the recushion at Eugene saddlery and 219 lavender. gd luck

pld helmets...i reccomend that you do not ride with it..

plastic material deterioates ..most will start to self destruct from 8 years..0nwards..

 

it look good..but shityy in performace...

i personally throw away my helmet by the 5th year...as they will not be able to provide the protection in case of an accident...

incidenatally...i have one 5 year old helmet to dispose...come and get it..if you want it..foc.

How is the workmanship of Eugene saddlery and price for helmet repair. My 2 year old helmet condition is good except the chin strap pad synthetic leather crack, wanted to sewn in a new piece.
