Some mirrors come with 2 screw at its back to tigthen the joint.

I removed the screw but realised can't put it back.

the 'nut' inside the mirror had moved and there's nothing for the screw to 'bite'.

Some friemds told me the 'catch' / nut had dropped and the only way is to smashed / remove the piece of mirror to put the screw back with the 'nut ..

Any advise ???'

use tooth pick 'fish' it back in place already.

Thanks.

Lesson learned - never remove the screw completely.

LOL thanks for the lesson :cheeky:

With greater power comes greater responsibilities :puke:

Remove the mirror from the handlebar, place it flat against the ground (on the level). This is to ensure that gravity doesn't work against you.

Slowly poke around with a toothpick or paperclip until the nut is aligned, then try screwing the bolt back on.
