Black BMW SGU9133*

Nearly got hit by black BMW SGU9133* today along AYE.

Time around 545pm.

Cant see the driver cos the windows are all tinted.

 

Was travelling on the 2nd lane around 80kmph due to heavy traffic.

The driver intentionally cut into my lane dangerously and nearly caused me to fall.

Luckily i was able to swerve away in time.

 

The same driver was tailgating me for some distance before this happened.

 

If anyone has video recording please let me know.

Believe another fellow rider witnessed this too.

Please let me know how to report this too.

 

Drivers like this need to be caught before people get killed.

Since you say it's tinted. I believe u can write in to LTA to get his vehicle inspected.

On a more serious note, just suggesting can u go to a police station and ask them how should you proceed. If you're lucky maybe your situation was caught by one of the many cctvs there are scattered all over the island.

Happened to me before. You can try going into the TP website. An investigation officer actually got back to me saying he will look into it. Been 2yrs. Not sure if there was any follow up action taken.

I am still hoping to find the fellow biker who waved to me that day

I thought he was trying to tell me he got the video recording

 

don't think the TP can do much without video evidence...

TP cannot do anything without a video but since this happened in Express way it shud definitely be captured.

This type of drivers very common on the road nowadays .. I urge all to ride safe and just let the tailgaters pass us. Cause to me they are in a hurry to hell so I'll gladly let them thru.

Yeah.. No use getting angry. We crash into cars or the car crash into us ultimately we are the ones who suffer.. Ride safe.

yea i always give way if needed

 

on that particular day traffic was very heavy on all lanes and I was just following behind the general traffic

driver rather be tailgating and changing to left lane than just overtaking from the 1st lane

 

already checked the TP website.. can't lodge a report unless I have eyewitness or video evidence

Try to ride at the centre of a lane. Coz if you ride at the side of a lane, drivers will tends to cut you off the lane...Good luck.

Tinting only "or gong" $100... but the trip to LTA or to his car shop will waste his time hehehe which is more fustrating.

be ready to go to court as witness if required.

but its your word against his and since there is no damage nor injury, you can only take up a civil suit, i believe.

 

on the other hand, take it as a learning experience and thank God you are well.

usually its the cheap lousy BMWs or cars for that matter that try these things with bikes.
