Hi all!

After thinking through it for a long time, I have decided to make a hard decision to let go of my Ducati 1098. It has been an amazing ride and rumours regarding riding an Italian beast is certainly true. Raw power, amazing control and sleek designs all come in a package in the form of a 1098. I have never regretted purchasing this beauty from Day 1 and I have decided to let it go as I feel that it's probably time to downgrade to a 4 wheeler instead due to work and family. Without much add-ons, it's already powerful but I added a few things to sweeten it up:

  • Ducabike Open Clutch Cover
  • BMC Race Air Filter
  • Bidded no. plate that complements the bike '1098'

Registered year is mid 2007 and mileage just grazed the 36k mark and internally, it is in good working condition. It is considered low mileage due to lack of usage and always kept hidden in my multi-storey carpark. 24k servicing has been done bike is washed and waxed at least once every 2 weeks unless the rain decides to come and give it another "wash". I believe that with proper maintenance and love, this bike will serve you well on the roads and on track days (I have not brought it out to track at all cause too sayang should anything happen to it).

With pain in my heart, I am letting go of her at REVISED PRICE $10,980.00. Price is fair as I believe that it is a bargain for the legendary 1098 series that has been reviewed as one of the best bikes around.

Well for starters, I find that the 1098 has a much smoother acceleration and torque in between gears while the RC8 is pretty raw. I've not brought it out to track so I can't say much difference at the moment. Both great bikes with pros and cons each.

Thanks for the information.
