Great bike!.

Excellent fuel consumption for a class 2 bike of around 21~22km/L

EO only 2.6L w/o oil filter change, 2.8L with oil filter change.

oil filter is the same as super4.

Comfortable riding position.

Power wise, its design for comfort not for speed, great for crusing but if you are looking for adreline rush, this is not the bike.

Great carry capacity with built in panniers and can easily add a top box.

Accessories are hard to find though... body kits are expected to be very expensive. All in all, a GREAT bike to have and to keep.

Riding can be a safe, fun filled activity for everyone :thumb:

Bro Icewater.

Thanks for the info. Nice writeup. Seriously considering this bike or ST11. Yet to decide. Tough choice.

Kang2

If not mistaken the otr should be around 20k to 21k (depend on insurance). Machine price -18K (Mah)

was quoted 19k otr by mr lee last week inclusive of 1st party insurance. but was unsure wat version ABS or non ABS version.

Gonna check out later in the day.

The honda deauville is really a great all round bike.

After riding this bike for about 6mths, I think the deauville is really a practical bike. Very usable power range, covers 0-100kph for sg road comfortably and effortlessly. Low fuel consumption, V-twin reliability, shaft driven, what more can you ask for?

Personally, I think there is a certain class about this bike too. There are deauville clubs in other parts of the world but it seems that deauville is really rare in Singapore. I think this is mainly due to the price. People will rather pay a few thousand more to buy a STX or FJR or they may buy a blackbird.

I hope there can be more deauville riders around.

Riding can be a safe, fun filled activity for everyone :thumb:
