Few common traits are that there is never a number plate displayed nor do the background pictures indicate they are taken in sgp. There will also never be any contact number given for enquiries. Prices will be ridiculously cheap too.

They have done scooter scams. And now Ducs scam. Who knows maybe akan datang will be on Adventures. Buyers pls stay away.

Its really unfair to say this...some are really genuine sellers who are willing to sell their machine at low price due to relocation or other matters...but of cos do your homework first before committing to any payments

Yes it's a scam. Have tried them once and they communicate with emails.

Making up bullshit story say they have relocated and selling bike cheap.

And wants you to send payment. Don get cheated.

Have reported to admin but seems they ain't doing anything to ban such ads.

Even Some pretending to be buyers who are overseas. later U can con of yr item. Already many sellers get conned already.

Anyway some offers are ridiculous I think most of us here are smart enough NOT to be con by them. If u want to get con, Good luck to U and yr $$$

Where to buy? Local or Overseas? How payment mode.

Put and ad on Gumtree for my CBR250. Received SMS and email from a 'MIKE'. Watch out guys, it's a SCAM !

 

"Thanks for getting back to me at your earliest....I'm ready to pay your asking price ? I am buying it for myself soon but i am not in town at the moment due to nature of my work for some time,i have gone through your advertisement and i am satisfied with it.i do have a carrier that will be coming to pick it up after payment,So no shipment involved, So i'm sorry i will not be able to come look at it in person you can get back to me with more pics if available,Do u have a paypal acct? yes, is a scam, he replied only be email. His bike picture also not in any mscp

he replied sold and ask for another cheaper bike by saying he is a collector

no local contact, beware
