hi everyone,

 

new BMW rider here. I just got myself a 1200GS a couple of months ago. I was wondering if you could fit the Garmin Zumo into the GPS cradle ?

I am not willing to pay $2000 for the Navigator V at PML when the Zumo will cost less than half. looking at the cradle, I believe the casing could be removed, leaving only the electrical contacts, so some fabricating would be needed to hold the Zumo. Has anyone done this?

Also, anyone regularly goes for northbound rides on weekends? just looking for short day rides sometimes.
