anyone here have connections with the higher level in HR?? need some help in getting into SIA......................... i always believe that my working experience as customer service is justifiable to cover for my lack of Os............. i just need a little connection and a little help............ anyone willing to help me??????????????? pretty pls................ can PM me for details.................

but if qualifications if your stumbling block in your choice of career... then perhaps it's high time you relook into improving it?

 

most girls inside look like crap... that i agree... but they almost ALL have a minimum diploma...

 

SIA like all GLCs have very academic focused HRs... if you don't cut it, they will just filter you out no matter how swee you look...

 

begging on a forum to help pass your resume into HR isn't really gonna help you further your ambition... try something more concrete babe...

conceit? i know i have wat it takes to be one... i only do not have the paper qualification thats all.. n i totally feel its unfair.. becoz since who says that having paper qualification means you make a good worker? it is proven that having higher EQ is beta than having higher IQ..

they see paper, dun see skills.. but if you are motherland of ah tiongs, you dun even need skills or papers.. just show the passport can already and you will be welcomed with wide open arms.. :angel:

you think it's unfair?

 

then won't it be unfair ( if they choose you) for those people who actually put in the effort to achieve their qualifications?

 

Singapore is based on meritocracy...

 

if you don't get the job that doesn't mean you're not qualified to do it, it just means that there's someone else much more qualified than you are.

They have decided on a min. paper qualifications becos trainees will be taking classes regarding the diffirent types of planes and the compartments and safety etc. etc...

 

therefore a basic level of academic qualifications determine the suitability from a simple yet effective standpoint.

Not having the basic requirement means u do not have what it takes.

 

Im sure u dont need a higher IQ to understand this, right?

How to justify ?? btw, how many Os ?? i tink i have 7-8 "O" level in A's and B's and a piece of useless "toilet paper"
