Pay seller $1221

Go LTA transfer his bike with the number to your name. Pay $11.

Pay LTA $1300 to retain the number under your name.

Transfer bike which will be allocated a new number by LTA to seller. Pay $11.

With the number retained under your name, you can now either:

1) put onto your current bike. No additional charges.

2) put onto a new bike and register with the number. LTA will refund u $1200 i.e. u'll be paying $100.

Total cost if put on current bike is $1221+11+1300+11 or new bike is $1221+11+1300+11-1200.
