Hi,

 

Letting go of my beloved Africa Twin due to other commitments.

Bike COE ends at 31 Jan 2020.

 

What i have done since i bought this bike?

 

1) Install a mainstand

2) Install hazard light switch

3) Bought a tank bra

4) Install hepco becker side racks

5) Change tyres (6 months ago)

6) Change brake pads front and back (last week)

7) Change Rectifier ( last January)

8) Install Air Horn

9) install Drz mirrors (will pass you stock mirrors as well)

10) Changed Starter Relay

11) Flushed my radiator

 

How i service my bike?

 

1) Change engine oil every 5000km

2) Change oil filter alternately

3) Buy a chain lube and lube the chain regularly

4) ocasional wd40 metal parts.

5) wash bike every month.

 

Some minor disabilities.

1) Trip meter cracked and resets everytime bike is switched on.

2) a little cracked at the front beak.

Thats all i can think of.

 

What you might need to change in next 6 months:

 

1) chain and sprocket (ard $250)

2) engine oil and oil filter

3) tyres if u go touring once fortnightly

4) checked the wires for the tripmeter if u want to get it fixed.

 

I'll be letting go of the bike with all the items mentioned above plus a 45l hepco becker top box plus a spare rectifier and fuel pump.

 

I'll will also be replacing the windshield with the stock windshield.

 

This bike has gone Malacca with me and is my everyday transport. Fuel consumption is around 18-20km/litre (depending on how much u throttle everytime after moving off from traffic lights). Fuel tank is 23 litres.

 

Letting go at 9k. (negotiable)
