How to go about claiming insurance for stolen bike?

my bike was stolen 3 days ago.

how do i go about making the claim? i bought third party + fire + theft insurance.

 

can i just call them? or do i have to personally make a trip down?

 

can someone familiar with the steps pls tell me step by step what to do? thx.

i heard from my friends that u have to make police report den call them and wait..

 

WAIT FOR 3 MONTHS~ only after 3 mths n police still cant find ur bike den they will pay u the market value..

 

my friend's bike found only 2 months after report in really BAD CONDITION den in the end cannot claim a single cent..

 

Not sure whether wad i said is correct but this is wad i heard..

hey....actually if your bike was recovered damaged, u can actually claim from insurer even though it covers fire and theft. This is a special case as the damages happens during the period of the theft. Check with ur insurer.
