hi guys,

can anybody tell me the machine price for cb1000r now?

 

I not sure about new price because new stock haven come to S'pore.

If this bro interested still can go albert motor or bike production, i not sure bike production still have anot but albert there left last bike with old machine price.

 

New stock will minimum increase 2-3k. :)

Got bad news recently...

Notice that i had oil leak on my engine front side.... Investigate and found out its engine oil leaking from top cylinder head. Damn... Milleage juz 1600+... Went to BS cause under warranty... They ordered the gasket and will called me when the shipment arrived... (Gasket also must order huh) :sian:

Hi all, think all CB1000R bikers long time never meet up gathering and go rounding.

Now is time to gather all old and new CB1000R bikers, any suggestion for meet up place?

Bro, sad to heard that news. How you change the engine oil?

 

My engine oil last time also leakage

It because i over fill the engine oil causes when traffic jam and tempreture hit 100c, engine oil will leakage.

 

Did you follow the menu fill the engine oil?

Guys, a related question since the topic is on head gasket. Changed my head gasket about 2 months back and EO is leaking from the right side of the block now. Started an hour ago. Is it possible to re-use and gasket and just apply the proper sealant? Can't be a blown gasket cos it's relatively new.. But..

Haven't change cause its not yet 6000.... last change on 1000... Due to the leak, i'll always check my oil before moving off... got bad experince before...:cheeky:

 

But lately the leak is not as bad as before leh... It could be that my oil volume is not to the max.... hmmmm:confused:

sometimes some ppl like to on their engines n let it warm up tooo long, this would cause gasket to deterioriate over time.

 

 

How long does it take to consider it "long"???

I always warm up my bike til radiator indicates 70 + degree... Cause my normal riding temp is between 77 and 85... So i guess 70+ degree is safe and warm enough to move off in spore.....:thumb:

 

And i always warm my bike in an upright position... (Not on the side stand) :cheeky:

My Street Triple still the same loh. Still 675cc, didn't grow any bigger :lol: Trying to get the exhausts approved. I'm not planning to mod it too much. Maybe changing the clutch and brake levers to after-market ones. That's all I have in mind right now.

You are riding around with non approved exhaust? How come take so long?

 

After market clutch and brake levers? Does it improve the performance of the bike? Dun waste money lah... Change it only when you brake it. :angel:
