Bros, i'm getting a 2nd hand gilera vxr200 in the next week or so, already settled with the buyer on the price. I'm totally new to this as its my first bike so REALLY REALLY need some help to avoid getting conned.

Will really appreciate it if some experienced bros can post here about the process. Items like:

1) When do i need to get the insurance. On the actual day of transfer or a few days before as it might take time to process?

2) Should i pay the buyer first or get the buyer to transfer the ownership first?

3) Other than transfering the ownership at LTA, anything else i need to do?

4) Do i need to show an insurance certificate when transfering ownership?

5) I'm paying 3.6k for an unmodified 3yr old gilera vxr200, is it an alright price?

Any other info that you bros wanna provide will be GREATLY appreciated.

ans1) on the say itself can go do ur insurance(make sure it is open. sun close) This is an immediately effect. jus a piece of paper to prove only.

ans2) since both are stranger. dun expect anyone do pay to take money first. i would recommend u two to go down LTA to do the transfership. Everything do infront of ur eyes. that the best.

ans3)that all. nothing else.

ans4)yes u need the cert to prove when transfer ownership.

everything will take place within a few hour. settle it all in one day.

hope this help.
