Marina South no more ideal for kite flying liao.. Half the field taken away for other developements. Also dono where good for kite flying. I have a giant kite from China now lying in the store room collecting dusk I think the kite shop at Marina Bay is still there. Since now no business perhaps u can get better deal liao.

I like the range at kingofkite website and am planning to buy a kite this Friday. They claim to be wholesalers.

 

buy-kites claims to have the cheapest stuff around. This may be true. Will deliver for purchase exceeding $80.

 

ezykite operates on Sat and Sun at Drive 4 Pasir Ris open space. arries a slightly better range of kites (subject to availability) than buy-kites. Offers advise and carries spares. Believe they can do minor onsite repairs for purchases made from them. Can try before buying.

 

All the kites are from China. They fly well nonetheless.

 

I bought a delta kite from Premier Kites in the US. Cost a bit for freight and though made in China I was very impressed with the finishing and stitching when compared with those I bought locally.

 

I recommend a delta for starters. Easy to fly and yup, its relaxing allright.

I am also interest in fly kite and can be found at Senkang field most weekends.

 

I am organising a bike trip to Malaysia on Saturday May 29 to Pontian, for purpose of kite flying.

 

I am told beach got kopi-shop so can drink coffee, and relax and watch kiktes.

 

Will take my car if ppl woory about how to bring kite on a bike.

oh thnks ! i went to marina barrage to buy oledi..the uncle is super nice and he is very helpful as well ! but the range not much.. i guess very soon i may get another one wif lights ! hahahaha

yesterday i saw kinda of special kite, it controlled using 2 hands, and able to do some stunt in mid air, anyone got any idea where to get this?? i saw it at sengkang the open field
