hi deauville riders,

I just heard there is another deauville on sale at looi , i can't believe FT plate

4k include new paint work and insurance...

even bike shop is selling it cheaper than super4 =(

Sounds interesting. But I do need Loois to give me my bike first.....still waiting for their phone call. Also, there may be things that need to be done to the bike before I'll be comfortable to make such a trip. But definitely interested in trips with a bunch of DVs.

Your Deauville is in good hands, don't worry. I bought my Deauville from Looi's in April 08 and have been having smooth ride since then.

I took the bike from them on 30/4/08 and next day 1/5/08 rode the deauville to Malacca and back without any hiccups. Pull the bike upto average 160km with no problem.. :cool:

Check you deauville with Ahmad or Zul the mechanic. Both are trustworthy chaps. :thumb:

Yeah, the machine of a DV is pretty reliable and tough, can probably run that thing until the wheels fall out. In fact I confirmed with Uncle Lee when the bike was in pieces in the workshop; didn't even start it. Now its nice to have some assurance that the mechanics there are trustworthy too. Anyway, I don't really want to rush them to finish up the touch-ups so I guess I'll just have to wait.....

Hi Jack,

 

We are terribly sorry for the last min cancellation which was sent out via email to the current deauville members. As the group is growing by numbers which we have not foreseen, we are to be honest abit overwhelmed by the co-ordination efforts for the outings now.

 

We have just setup up a modest site for our members: sgdeauville.com with the hopes of easing this process as currently it is abit difficult to confirm who is attending or not and the last outing was cancelled as most members were unable to make it at the last min.

 

i have also setup a forum on the mentioned website, maybe brothers here can suggest whether to use this forum to add in names of confirmed outing goers or use the forum in sgdeauville.com, or any other method etc.

 

Meanwhile, sincere apologies for your wasted effort. :cry:
