change spark plugs, service carb, adjust clutch spring and you MIGHT be good to go.. actually i don't understand what u say when the clutch 'struck over'. the clutch plates/housing hitting something or what?

It's your damn bike, wash it yourself! You rinse your own mouth after you eat, don't you?

is it better to adjust the clutch free play nearer or further?

"But it ain't about how hard ya hit. It's about how hard you can get hit and keep moving forward. How much you can take and keep moving forward. Now if you know what you're worth then go out and get what you're worth."

Tis one depends on the rider himself. As for me, I like further, juz like racing style. But not too far lar. As long as your fingers can gauge the biting point, I guess is alright.
