I bought my pipercross at $150.... so it's a good deal for whoever want it from Dinie... furthermore can ask him to sign his signature = priceless! :D

Alamak bro. As if u dun know the guys. U change bike or u riding cubchai wanna join them also they dun mind. Some of them already changed bike and upgraded to supertourers. Still they come down mah. Dun feel segegrated by the different bike bro.

Not bout the bike la bro, I've been bz lately..

Fiance been working 2nd shift and I've been fetching her frm work at nite if I'm working day or on off..

Pity her coz need to catch the bus and train and reach hm at 1am..

Nw she got news saying that the 3rd shift is back on..

So I won't haf to fetch her so often nowadays..

 

Furthermore I wanna c the 'new look' for KKFC..

Haha too bad no more free refill for the flavoured drinks though..

I have the xtre also, I think it's supposed to increase hp over the 2 and 3/4 gear or something likedat... nt exactly sure also, haha... Anyway, GPR finally reverted abt their exhaust for Gsr400! The dam is $780, but I'm nt sure whether it's st legal.. anyone interested we all go haggle price..? haha..

If it is stated that it is legal. Than this is of course a better alternative than wat WR's.

just got back from a very wet night ride, so i guess it's time to give a review on my new set of tires, the Michelin Pilot Road 2. those looking for new tires, read on...

 

a brief introduction on the pilot road 2s. its a dual compound, silica-based tire with medium-hard on the centre and medium-soft on the sides. Reviews abroad gave it the 'best grip in the wet' title. so i went ahead to purchase a pair just to see what the hype was about..

 

DRY>>> of the three tires so far, the stock BT-014, the non-2CT Pilot Power and the current Pilot Road 2, to me they're all the same. they grip equally as well. and this is only applicable to street riding only. for track use, i can't comment much as i've only used the Power on the track. the only difference between them is the profile of the tire. the Michelins are more oval-shaped if i may say. when starting the lean into a corner, the bike just drops into the corner with just a flick of the bars. minimal effort needed. some might find it scary and think that the rear is slipping, but that's just the way the tire works. unlike the bridgestones, i find both Michelins more enjoyable to ride with. flicking the bike left and right just feels so much more exciting and enjoyable. in short, the tires are really confidence-inspiring.

 

WET>>> this is where the Road 2 really shines. although the Powers were softer tires, i really had trouble taking corners and the tires just felt like they were slipping away. i had to exercise caution when cornering with the Powers. i won't comment about the Bridgestones cause they're just crap in the rain. with the Road 2, corners in the wet just felt like they were in the dry. no slipping and sliding at all. that's if you've scrubbed in your tires properly of course. i agree 101% with the reviews that these tires perform very well in the wet.

 

DURABILITY>>> unfortunately i can't comment on this cause i just had them on.

 

PRICE>>> at 400 bucks, you get awesome grip in the wet with dual-compound technology and supposedly greater mileage. what more can i say?

 

with all being said, it's Michelins for life!

 

yo guys... i believe all has change their set of tyres.... i think my turn is next...front tyre close to botak already... all my staff riders are pestering me to change already...

 

where? how much? what type? any other reviews...

i just changed my tyres yesterday. I'm back on german tyres, still running them in nicely. Also changed the wheel bearing n also the steering cone bearing. Spent a bomb this month.

 

Next milestone, top overhaul. $$$ fly away...

Need to add....you check with GPR Asia rite? Confirm not street legal for 400cc. It seems that they do not want to take the extra effort to make it street legal. haiz. Been checking with them for many a time already.

 

Give same reason can use. Arrow pipe can also use on GSR. Its a matter of legality issue only.

I already initiate Bug LTA a few months ago....but all not cooperative then how to. I myself have made 5-8 queries spread over a few months.

 

1 person cannot do it. It takes many people to shout...1 person shout cannot hear hahahha.

I used strada be4. Corsa 3 also try. Was waiting for the Angel ST but its not in yet. So decided on the diablo 1st. Most probably it'll last me 5-6 mths by then the angel should be in.

 

Top overhaul will vary. If everything has to change except for the cylinder block, about 1.2k.. Its time to anyway cos my bike will hit 100'000km soon.

 

N dont think im going to sell the bike anyway cos with such a high millege, i dont think anyone would want to buy. The loan is about to finish anyway.
