HELP!!bike stall and not able to start..

Hi all,

 

need some advise.. today while riding, was parking my bike suddenly engine stall then i cant start the bike.. press the start button but then the cranking sound was like dying off then totally no sound.. my digital meter also was reset. if is the battery prob, why is it that there are still lights on my headlight and front signal light..

Need some advise on what is wrong and how much is it to repair it.

heh. got that problem a few days back. might be the batt or rectifier. but mine was not both. one of the wire for the connector at the rectifier burnt. go to a TRUSTED mech shop, ie HKL or unique, those good ones, and get a check. u changed the connector for 45bucks.

Interesting... the bike just died after riding and cant start? could be connector or something... but it sounds like a battery problem..

 

The weak cranking sound could be due to the low voltage, soon it will just be 'tack tack" sound. There is still enough voltage to power your headlight and signals, even so, your headlight should be dimmed; there isn't enough to start up the bike.. try to Push start or jump start the bike then ride it to yr bikeshop..

 

otherwise just get it towed..

yup second that.must be low voltage batt.if died when riding..hmm must be some connector wire fault.

I call tow, and the bike was towed to my bike shop, my mechanic say is the magnetic coil spoil. How do we know is the magnetic coil spoil.

yup..probably the magneto coil....exactly wad happened in ur case...no sign just happen like dat..usually high mileage bikes and engine running too high temp tend to get this..

sometime its just the carbon starter... dun get conned by shop.. magnetic coil is not cheap bro.
