if you are using synth oil, you can change around 4000KM. My mech suggested to change the spark plug and filter after 20000KM.

How about when to over haul to change the fork rings all these? any ideas?

Servicing is a veri personal thing - there is a industry standard but it is really up to you.

I personally use semi syntectic EO & change every 2500km, to keep the engine cleaner. Spark plug & Air filter i will change every 10,000km. I may change the air-filter more often, depending on the performance of the bike & the riding condition.

I believe if i do all these above, I may not need to Overhaul my bike at all.

Just my 2c tots.

These are all very simple DIY stuff and you should try it yourself and get immense satisfaction that its done exactly right. If you are interested, I would be pleased to offer some coaching at my place (near Novena Square) this weekend. It would take only 1 hr. . {edited: Cancelled due to no demand}

okie... so what do i need to buy?? newbie still...haha...

brake fluid: Dot 3 & 4 compatible. I like Mobil its 3 & 4 compatible. 1 bottle of 500cc =$7. available from mobil stations.

Engine oil: your preference whether mineral (normal) oil, semi syn or full syn. Castrol GTX would suffice for the CBR150 - its about $28 for a 4L can.

Coolant: get the pre-mixed type about. just get your preferred brand otherwise Castrol brand also can - they are all the same. Get the required qty - I dont know how much your bike will need. As long as its glycol-ethylene based.

that shd do for now keke

me working on every weekend leh for fri till sun, hw about it weekdays vfrt????

I hv proposed a date and time and is awaiting response. If its not taken up by today, it will be called off.

Week nights will allow only theory (no practical) with simple bike tweaking, done over a kuppa. This is cos it wont be fun having to rush things in the dark against time. cheers
