Gilera VXR accessories n modifications

hi bro . im a newbie in gilera runner . so need some help . i bought a 2nd hand vxr 200 05 model recently . and i found out tha my meter .. the one which shows the fuel thingy , is always 3 bar even after i pump it full . then i went to ask a passer by who is a runner rider too , he told me that usually the meter always spoil wan , no matter hw much u pump , it wont show full bar . is it so ? if not i going back to bike shop and repair le . and oh ya .. full tank usually how much ? and how far can it go ? can someone help ? :x

 

if its not modified and is tuned correctly, should be able to hit at least 240km/tank.

Just get your fuel float checked. might be spoilt already

depends on wat quality of matt black u want.. yeow motor in amk ind pk 2 quote 400+ for matt color.but the quality is top notch.its not juz matt black.there's glitter to it.and the lacquer is top quality too.

Bros and sis, I just lost my master key. The spare key is with shop. Can i duplicate that key or do i have to make a new master key? how much is it also man? should i go to piaggio or not? help man..

There should be one master and 2 keys, total 3. If you lose the master, only thing to do is to change the ignition unit and a new set of keys. Total at least $90 bucks or more. I did mine at Botak, Wonderful Motors at Macpherson.

Copied frum other thread to gain some tips* Im a newbie riding ay 06 gilera vxr runner,hmm and as usual..will ask a newbie qs first ah..after about 3-4 days riding...i now could hear like a ringing or lose ring sound coming from the rear end of the bike, the tyre part..what could it possibly be ? Hope u guys has the possible answers..thnx..!! and is it normal to experience back fire from a stock pipe? cuz each time i close throttle and comes to a stop..sounds like bop,pop will occur..this bike always got stomach ache ah?

the ringing sound cld be from ur clutch bell.go cet it check.the pop sound u just reduce the air intake from the carb.hehehe...

Bros, would like to ask..

Where do u duplicate the keys?

I heard there's a chip in the keys. So u cant anyhow duplicate anywhere..

And i read in the thread there's a shop beside ah boy doing the duplicate for gilera keys. Do we need to do the coding ourselves? or the shop will do it for us? And can we just duplicate the duplicated keys or we need the master key itself?

And if we need to do the coding ourselves how do we do it???
