I work on weekends, haha. book rc lah... i wan instructor to teach me blind spot checking. I kena quite alot of points on that... -.-'' sp last session i dont mind, cuz cheap.

 

 

Now like only we two still taking rc sp rr... boring...

the rest all enjoy liaoz wor.. =)

just got back from msia payu... some lousy dumb idiots were beeping their horns all the way from the time they reach the jam-packed queue until they get their turn at the customs guy for the chop... its not as by beeping your horn, the queue will disappear, plus those horns sound like mouse squeaks, wanna horn get a louder one la... dUhZ~

 

to those going for TP. did you know you can log in every now and then to check if they have earlier TP slots(some ppl might give up their slot)? i brought mine forward that time by 2 weeks. end up, my waiting time for TP from 8.01 to TP is only like 1.5weeks. you can try for earlier slots if you seriously cant wait to ride legally(i know i cant wait) on the road.

well, if i'm not mistaken, the rationale behind the horning is so that those customs officers inside their nice aircon cubicles will realise that there is a long queue and either hasten their indiv screening process or open up more lanes to accomodate the crowd...

 

thought it was dumb too, when i first went...but if it manages to get the msg across, well, it might help ease the queue i guess...but i tink those customs pple are used to it alr la...might not make a diff...

 

and yah. i was supposed to get my licence before u lah!

was there around 10+.. not much jam around that time..

Hi guys just new to the forum... wanna make more frens who often take their lesson in BBDC and i am now currently taking stage 8.01 2nd time so ani 1 also at the same stage wif me can share tips...

There is still me left in 8.01. :cry:

 

Both of U 2 have bikes. The earliest possible time for me to own a bike is Mar 2007.

 

In fact, I don't like 2b bike except RS125 which looks very big and pretty.

 

But its price is 53000 HK$ , that is 11k S$.

actually in singapore, it's going for about SGD13,000..

Because I will graduate in Feb 2007 and I only can buy if i decide i stay in Singapore. If l go back to China next year, i can not buy la because motorcycles are forbidden in most big cities in China. :mad: The goverment says motorcycles occupy too much space on the road and pollute air. Nonsense!

Hi everyone,

 

I have some tips for those doing 8.01. I just passed mine after 2 attempts.

 

Firstly, some people like doing 8.01 or 5.02 at the last session (9.40 - 10.50pm). The roads are relatively empty both inside and outside the circuit.

 

My second tip is not really a tip per se but stems rather from luck. I passed my 8.01 the second time because I had a lenient instructor. I don't think I deserved to pass, so I am putting in some effort for the RR's and SP's.

I booked 4 RR's for myself, and while I can afford it, I am beginning to think that there is no need for THAT many. Is 4 overkill?

err...after 8.01 i took 1 RR and 2 RCs before taking TP...one of the RCs was a waste of time cuz it felt more like a SP...

 

i kinda think RCs are more impt, cuz more pple get points in circuit...yea...so maybe u should change one of the RRs to RC...jus my 2 cents...

bariumoxide: RR depends on personal preference la... like for me, i got to book an earlier TP date (right adelene?). then i realised i only got 1 week left, so when i decided to book some revisions, there were no more slots, so i went for i think 1 or 2 RR, 2 SP, 1 RC. most impt is circuit must zai, dont kena IF for circuit courses, very ai-wan de... so if you think you not zai, going for SP is good.

 

and tips to pass 8.01: must be zai, smile to instructors and LOTS OF LUCK.
