Actually sometimes maybe too much info become info overload so maybe just dun think TOO much and just try. Go with the flow n follow ur guts instinct.

I was reading thru the past few pages n yeah, everyone has pretty good ideas n suggestions but for ppl still taking, i only scared its too many things to remember and forget the pertinent steps instead!!!

So!!! Relax and try not to get too tensed up! Ganbatte everyone :)

I may disagree with what you have to say, but I shall defend, to death, your right to say it.

so that technique is blow first, then while closing throttle, clutch out? gotta try that, thanks!

swee! learn two new things without even touching a bike  can't wait til next SP

eh.. dun clutch out too much.. if not later ur bike die and it will probably test ur reaction to see how fast u can electric start again and keep ur balance

school bikes have their idling quite high. as long as ur bike is still moving (even if it's slowly), u can actually release the clutch to almost the 'biting' pt and feel the effect. By 'blowing', the engine becomes more ready to accept the load when u clutch out and as u know, 2a bikes are heavier. If not, when u r suay hor, ur bike will die if u didn't ;blow' first.

Lastly, plank is actually very similar to the bumpy course, both require u to go straight slowly. In bumpy course, the blowing becomes more significant, cos if u dun blow, u confirm roll back from the hump and maybe fall off..~ u'll really understand when u do lah. If u can really do ur bumpy course very very slowly hor.. tat's really skill sia..

First would like to thanks planescape, outwaged, hart, Bibi, Roadwiniac, yuxiang856, LordDevil & kahhwee.. for all your guideness.. today surpisely that i nvr drop the bike.. :cheer: but i still failed my e-brake..

today went for the lesson 3.02.. Voon EY was my instructor for today.. during the lesson, bike nvr skid.. the reason i failed again is bcos bike when stopping not stable.. still wobble & oso clutch in to early.. so that why instructor Voon failed me.. he told me he cannot pass me & want me to practice more on my e-brake.. :sian:

Instructor Voon is really a very strict instructor.. i can said that he is one of best instructor in BBDC.. the way he explain the subject very clearly :thumb:

Hmm. it is ok to let engine die one. Just need to restart quickly. No points taken off de. But to prevent wobbling right clutch in at the last. Don't worry. Pratice more. Wad voon say is right, he rather fail u now. then During tp time the testor fail u. Gd luck and u r welcome.

ohhh, that explains it.

yah, i usually just clutch out slightly at idling rpm to gain speed and clutch in to lose speed, but i find this other method more interesting. like maybe it could give a better "feel" of the engine. guess aside from curiosity, it's quite pointless to use it for now.

thanks for the technical explanation, hart! :bounce: really appreciate it cuz can't seem to find this sort of information anywhere else (besides 2A classes lah, but that's waaay off).

congrats on the improvement! i always admire when perseverance pays off :cheer: do keep in mind what you've learnt in the previous subjects too, though. could save a bit of frustration later on when you get back to them.

Thanks, will always keep in mind de.. :cheeky:

SP's fun what... in a relaxed sense. g'luck for your TP!

i feel the same way about information overload. nothing helps me as much as a cool head. and nothings screws things up for me as badly as an overworked one.

ganbatte indeed! that's the sentiment that got me signed up for 2b in the first place. used to mildly dislike bikes :faint:

i learnt this while i was doing my 2b sp.. i kept wondering y the guy on the hornet was blowing his bike.. after a few experiments, it worked and i understood. can work on all classes (regardless of cc) of bikes excepts scooters ba..

wow, you must be pretty sharp to have noticed that (not the bike blowing, but rather why). i try watching others riding in the circuit hoping to catch something, but all i ever get is static :p

in any case, thanks. hopefully will be able to put the info to good use.

clutch control is the best way to last on the plank... once you catch that its a breeze man ehhehe :p

thats y to me very easy eheheh even on a scooter its not a problem ehhehe

only difference is to accelerate a bit when going to fall then to press the brake a little when too fast hehe same hand moment hehe :p
