One solution is to pick hours where there are fewer cars. :)

 

Right turn sure slow one. Right got two lanes, and so many side roads where the cars can turn out from. Left side also got two lanes. Need to see which lane they're in before turning out. And sometimes you hesitate a bit only, the chance is gone and got to wait for one row of cars to pass by.

After exiting from the e- brake, turn right @ no 21 before heading into the filter lane and do a lane change to the right. That's where we stop for a right turn.

 

But it's difficult when one direction is cleared from traffic while the other has on- coming vehicles.

Instructor Voon is really a very strict instructor.. i can said that he is one of best instructor in BBDC.. the way he explain the subject very clearly :thumb:

u must straighten ur hands, grip the handle with some strength and grip the tank with ur knees. look straight infront and clutch in b4 u really stop. somehow i dun like voon. becos he is too strict. but he really explain very clearly. ahaha.. he took me for 1.02, 4.02 and 7.01. if he is the instructor, must really perform well. normally he only pass 1 or 2 person. lucky for me, all the practs 1 time pass.

in sg, sound fast look fast is enough. run fast fine fast die fast.

hey guys.. im goin to take my 3.02 and my rt evaluation soon.. seen the tips for 3.02 le.. but anyone got tips for evaluation? lol. will all the evaluation test questions be the same? i took 1 time but failed lol. didnt really study for it. any tips for evaluation?

for riding theory evaluation/test, i never knew any quick trick.

 

not sure why, but the riding theory practice questions were too ridiculous to be of any real guide for the actual evaluation/test.

I'm also lazy. Have to remove number tag, elbow guard, knee guard and helmet just to remove the rain coat.

i completed all the booklet in the practice. i can say most of the questions are useful and quite similar to rtt though some are stupid. lastly, wad my frens say is correct. no need to study the book. just do practice and u are ready for evaluation and rtt.

i see. oh well, made a mistake and took the long route. at least it's over and done with.

 

anyway, :goodluck: for your RTT! good thing you didn't put it off like i did. got stuck after stage5 for about a month cuz no PDL :weep:

finally passed my 3.01 after 3rd time. took 3.02 (e-brake) and passed on first attempt. yay. tomorrow morning 8am 4.01. chiong ahhhhh.

 

anyway just read through both books about 2 to 3 times. don't gan chiong before the test. relax relax go take. will pass one.. all the best. (: i only took 2 BTL lessons and 2 RTE and hiong my RTT alr. luckily just now passed. haha. jia you!

my instructor said if clutch in late engine die also nvm. as long as got clutch in can liao. so maybe can try to make it a point to clutch in as the bike is stopping or when it is really really very slow. even if engine die also nvm. (: good luck!

y not next time try brake until going to stop liao then clutch in. Don't need to stand by th clutch one. Engine die also nvm de. when next try?:thumb:

i remember that time when i was taking my E-brake. Arshad took me on that lesson :smile: . He demo 1~2 times to let us have a basic idea of what E-braking is. I still remember the way he put his legs down. Damn funny actions. When it's out turn, he told us to concentrate on the braking 1st and don't care about the clutch. Meaning let engine die la. He said that only when you feel comfortable with the braking already, then that's where the clutch comes in. After you had master the whole E-braking technique, you will be surprise how easy it is actually.

 

Well, what i'm trying to say here is take things step by step. To only increase the pace when you are really confident and comfortable. :goodluck:

Failed Failed Failed.. :help: yesterday failed again.. Took my 3.02 in lesson 1.. early in the morning @ 8am & end my lesson at 8:45am.. u guys must be thinking why finish so early.. :confused:

 

The reason why i finish so early is bcos when doing e-brake on my 2nd ard.. dun know why i go n jam my front brake when stopping.. Ong KB & Jason was there when my bike dropped & was thrown out of the bike.. One of the student was doing his 3.02 with me, i dun know what's his name but would like to thanks him for stopping his bike at the side & help me..

 

Think i was running abt 40km/h & forget to brake after close throttle so when reaching the red line that why i brake so sudden.. :sian:

 

Sprain my left ankle & arm, one of the instructor (can't rem'ber his name) send me to BBDC company clinic @ Amity.. :cry: was given 4 days MC & the doc ask me to go for a x-ray in SATA, to see if i fractured my leg.. the result will be out 3 days later..

I tried to only clutch in when I brake. In fact, the instructor asked me not to clutch in at all but just brake. Very angry. Dunno what I was thinking abt @ the last round before the bike skidded. Leg swollen again. I haven't recovered from the last buang @ 3.01 and got new bruises from 3.02. :cry:

Sorry ar ppl.. But hor.. Is E-braking really that difficult? Had they sprayed hydrocarbon on the surface instead of H2O :confused:
