Erm i am very confused by blind spot checking... hope you guys can help me as it has been bothering me all these while...

Refer to Fig 1:

You see, they are all at a traffic light junction. At green, before the bikes move off, where should they check?

Biker Blue : Left or Right

Biker Red: Left or Right

Biker Green: Left or Right

Biker Yellow: Left or Right

 

Refer to Fig 2:

Should Both bikers check right before moving off, or blue should check right, and red check left?

 

 

In addition, at the junction from a stationary position, after the biker check his right blind spot and move off, must he check his left blind spot just before he turns left? Cause there isnt much time to check left, as when i move off, i am already turning my handle bar, and we were taught not to check blind spots while turning... Help me...

i think as long as you're about to turn, you check the blindspot of the direction just before you turn into it. there's no need to check both of the blindspots if you're turning upon moving off.

 

so assuming they're all going to be turning when they move off:

 

for Fig 1:

Blue: check left

Red: check left

Green: check right

Yellow: check right

 

and for Fig 2:

Both check right.

 

however, if you're behind any of those bikes in both figures and all of you are stationary, you should check your right blindspot before moving off, -and- the respective blindspot before turning.

 

hope that helps.

 

and don't worry too much about it. knowing which side to check should be second-nature after a few practical sessions. whether we remember to check is a different story

hart: no need scan also can. key in IC number can alr.

 

thelittlepenguin: if i remember correctly.. tested started around 9.30AM.. by the time my turn was 1040AM.. not that long lah.. sit and talk with the people whose tag number around yours. then you can see every keep smoking, damn nervous. haha..

Not just for topping-up of account balance, but also for printing of lesson reporting slip and booking statement.

For session 8, one round warm up then go evaluation liao. if go normal session one, got extra self pratice time lor.

not sure about session 8 but that time i went normal session, they brought us one round outside first then evaluate on the next round...

 

come back to bbdc still got time to do one more round for circuit...

Went for 4.01.. everything went smoothly, never drop bike.. but speed not enough...

 

Must I really hit 10 sec and below then instructor will pass me..

 

First I got 12 sec, then follow by 11.5 sec.. Lastly 11 sec.. but instructor said I got 11 so he cannot passed me.. Just 1 sec extra only :cry:

haha i also cannot hit 10 secs...just go below 11 secs can already...cuz if hit 11 secs then TP will give u points...

They would do one round one circuit warm up + rd warm up then evaluate liao.

In the centre of the figure 8 speed up abit then the timing will improve alot liao le. Last time on my 2b days i also very hum one, end up i speed up abit manage to hit 9 sec.
