Lesson @ 1355 tmr, anyone going too?

Guess what happened to my lesson today, instructor who took me for my 4.01 only passed me Crank but not S course..

 

Today dun know what happened to me.. Bike that I choosed is not in good condition then during lesson bike went up to curb lah

 

S Course really veri difficult.. :cry: when can i pass my S Course..

today got 2 instructors pillon me.. one is Mr Sim K.H & the other is my first lesson instructor for 4.01.. both pillon me.. but I still can't get it rite.. :cry: think I too stupid liao..

actually I was late for class, but when I was on my to collect bike.. A lady in purple caught my eyes.. but i dun dare to ask too.. anyway think u r also abt to move off too..

 

but think is fate, let me see u again when queuing up to book our next lesson.. so decided to ask.. "R u Winter"

When u applied for PDL after clearing 5.02, what were the documents that u needed to produce? Did u have to produce a Riding Theory Certificate? When I checked BBDC website, the Riding Theory Certificate is listed as one of the documents to produce when applying for PDL. But I don't remember receiving such a certificate after passing my RTT.

RTT no cert 1.. u juz take da application form frm da traffic police office den fill in den go down to lvl 1 counter den tell them wen u pass ur RTT kan liao.. den da receptionist will do warts is needed for u den u go up to tp office again.. den they will check ur eyesight all dat den u paYment alredi den go down take que no. to update .. den ok le

yup... the printout is the so-called "cert" lor... if nv print, or lost that paper also nvm one... just tell them, they will check for you. no worries.

I also got no confident in my S Course too, but I won't give up.. Confident is build up by yourself, don't give up can.. So sad to hear that you r giving up..

 

Today is my 4th lesson on 4.01.. but only take S Course as I've passed my Crank Course.. Instructor told me, I can request to do S Course only..

Since u're doing S-course, might as well practice ur crank course mah. After all, the 2 courses are one after another and located at same area. How much time can u save by skipping the crank course to have more practice on the S-course?

 

When I did self-practice, I discovered 2 things to improve my S-course performance. Previously, due to fear of losing control of the bike, I tend to grip the handlebar very tightly. As a result, my upper body was stiff. But when I relaxed my grip on the handlebar, I found that the bike was much easier to control as my upper body was more relaxed. Same principle applies to narrow plank. But don't forget u still have to grip the tank with ur knees ah.

 

Secondly, to get under-10 sec timing, speed up a bit during the 2nd part of the fig. of 8 (where u turn to ur right). But to achieve this, u and ur bike have to lean more to the right. U'll get the feeling of leaning too much to the right and the fear of falling on ur right side. But trust me, the tyres have enough grip to see u thru. And don't forget there's also centrifugal force to help u maintain ur balance.

 

Hope my 2 tips above are of help to u. By the way, when's ur next lesson? Mine is Tuesday 6 June Session 2 9.50 am Subject 6.01. Anyone else having same lesson or session?

Hehe. I thought it's the name on my helmet that caught ur attention. I think I was only "booking" the bike when u saw me coz the briefing took quite long before the practical started. I was surprised when u tapped on my shoulder after that. Guess it's really fate ya.
