When u applied for PDL after clearing 5.02, what were the documents that u needed to produce? Did u have to produce a Riding Theory Certificate? When I checked BBDC website, the Riding Theory Certificate is listed as one of the documents to produce when applying for PDL. But I don't remember receiving such a certificate after passing my RTT.

Sorry for the late reply but guessed you have gotten the answers that you were looking for ya.

I only bought my IC, booklet and the application form for PDL (it's available @ the reception counter).

Ya. They would only asked you if you have passed RTT. Not necessary to show them any. Anyway, I've lost mine long time ago. Haha.

Dunno if the mag is the same one as I saw b4.. it had Rossi's poster in the mag too. But if I remember correctly, it was quite an old mag..

Since u're doing S-course, might as well practice ur crank course mah. After all, the 2 courses are one after another and located at same area. How much time can u save by skipping the crank course to have more practice on the S-course?

 

When I did self-practice, I discovered 2 things to improve my S-course performance. Previously, due to fear of losing control of the bike, I tend to grip the handlebar very tightly. As a result, my upper body was stiff. But when I relaxed my grip on the handlebar, I found that the bike was much easier to control as my upper body was more relaxed. Same principle applies to narrow plank. But don't forget u still have to grip the tank with ur knees ah.

 

Secondly, to get under-10 sec timing, speed up a bit during the 2nd part of the fig. of 8 (where u turn to ur right). But to achieve this, u and ur bike have to lean more to the right. U'll get the feeling of leaning too much to the right and the fear of falling on ur right side. But trust me, the tyres have enough grip to see u thru. And don't forget there's also centrifugal force to help u maintain ur balance.

 

Hope my 2 tips above are of help to u. By the way, when's ur next lesson? Mine is Tuesday 6 June Session 2 9.50 am Subject 6.01. Anyone else having same lesson or session?

but I passed my 4.01.. Actually my result or 4.01 is not really good at all.. Today lesson, Instructor is Tew TL.. he's the instructor that makes all of us PASSED today.. :cheer:

 

What he did is.. he ask another student to chase after me in figure 8.. as well as I'm will be chaing someone else too.. can u imagine when someone is behind chasing after u.. :sweat: Scared the one behind will bang on you.. so got to throttle more to speed up.. at first my result are like 11 sec when riding in figure 8 myself.. but when someone is chaing after u in there, things different liao.. My result came out to 9 sec and above.. I can't believe I actually can do it.. :cheer:

Anyway 4.02 is new to me.. U-turn looks easy but when really hands on, might be a different story liao.. So got to practice hard.. :sweat:

It is the position of the bike. If postion properly very easy to turn one. don't worry abt u-turn. U can de.

ya.. I attended so many lesson for 4.01, he's the most creative one :thumb:.. the rest of the instructors r also very good too.. but too bad they got a very lousy student.. :cry:

dat time i s-course.. da instructor aso used tis method sia.. haha.. chasing after each other.. den those slowslow 1 he put behind .. tink dat day mine aso everybody pass.. anyway congrat.. tis 4.02 u-turn maybe they nv teach coz muz see got time anot 1..but is sure pass 1 la.. gd luck
