Buying a bike

hi broz n sis .. i haf some qns here .. can i noe how many tinks haf to be considered b4 buying a bike ?? the tinks i mean are tinks lyk insurance, road tax, blah blah blah ...

 

firstly, i wan to buy a Honda NSR 150 SP. i noe we nid a 3rd party insurance to ride. so wat are the tinks i nid to buy ?? other than bike (of coz), insurance, valid COE n road tax.

 

secondly, how much do these tinks cost ?? other than the prices of bikes. we stil haf insurance to buy. normally how much do they cost or calculate ?? they say tat insurance r damn expensive 4 sportsbike and if u r a 18yrs old p-plater. but i haf fwens who ride sportsbikes, no matter rs125, kr, tzm or sp, they get cheap insurance such as $600 oni .. sumore they 18yrs old oso.

 

lastly, thnx 4 ur time to look at tis post n sry for such a lame post .. but i hope i can clarify all these tinks b4 i go research on bike prices blah blah blah......

bike - 1.5k - 2.5k depending on plate and condition

insurance ntuc 3rd party for p-plate - 650 SGD

road tax - 40 SGD half year

COE - of course it goes with the bike. ( if u need to renew it, it cost over a thousand . )

 

buying from shop, they will charge u GST, instalment interest etc. i would advise u to purchase a bike from fellow forumer.

thank you very much .. so since u say tat COE comes wif bike rite ?? meaning tat if i buy frm forumers, and they set the price 1.5k, total will be 1.5k oni ?? the total i mean is BIKE + COE = 1.5k .. is tat correct ?? coz wat i see they oso nvr sell bike n Coe separately de..

u will need to get ur own insurance but can take over the remaining road tax of his while COE is follow bike... not owner

ya i noe .. i noe COE follow bike .. wat i meant is tat i have to take note of when the COE is ending b4 i purchase the bike mah .. thnx anyway .. im clear now le ..

so everywhere u go.. u got to bring the COE along... cos it follows the bike
