so our stock sprocket size is 16/45? going to change soon.... wondering if there will be much diff if i change the sizes.... my pickup is good... but my top... i've tried 252km/h @ 13,000rpm with 1,000rpm left to redline... but it takes like forever to reach redline on 6th gear... (changed gear from 1 to 5 at redline)... do u guys encounter this too? :confused: btw, my bike is fully stock except for a K&N air filter and a heavy mainstand :cheeky:

Stock is 16/46. I think now very hard to find 46 rear sprocket so most of the will use 45 rear sprocket.

 

I never try top speed, only reach 245km/h with 6th gear at NS high way M'sia. So far I only try 3rd, 4th, 5th gear to red line and that is during track session.

 

My bike same as yours fully stock except the air filter.

stock is 16/46?? i think i saw an article b4... saying that the touring model is 45 at the rear and the sports is 46 at the rear... dunno if i rem it correctly... i saw Afam size 48 available for our bike at Motoworld today... anyway... how many of you guys has seen 260km/h and above on ur meter b4?? but seriously... i dun think its possible... unless u have mods like a full system + PC3 etc etc... look at the video... seems like that bike really has some difficulty hitting 250km/h... somemore it has a yoshimura slip on... :confused:

I'm also a new F4i rider.. just as green as u are. My fan would start when it reaches 107.. might wanna go to a workshop to check out ur fan... I'm SURE you're already feeling the "heat" esp when ur fan is not working..

Mine spocket size 16/44 525.. clocked 250km/h... no problem..

 

(stock with K&N filter)

 

.. now with GPR...aiming for 260km/h... havent try... today trip cancelled..

 

but i want pickup... thats why thinking of changing after today... now seems to hold back the schedule..:cheeky:

rockford, ur r6 would be kept in our custody at airport rd. our accident pound yard. ur friend need to get the approval of the io before he can collect his bike.. anyway, i saw the bike at jalan buroh. dun see much damage..

i do my repairs cum servicing at motorfactor which is near k n t. only my trusted mechanic alex will touch my bike.. his diagnosis of any bike problems is very gd. pricing wise also reasonable.

Yap.. thks to the slider.. only minor for the bike...

so lesson learnt is - even in spore.. or anywhere.. as long as u r riding.. full gears shld be WORN!!!

Rockford...your pickup already very fast liao...nearly cant catch up wif u tt dae...noticed that there is 1 more guy who is quite quiet..in black wearing specs...din manage to tok to him...anyone knows wads his nick?
