ok..i may sound abit kuku....but...aint the 2006 F4i still the same like the old F4i ?

same normal front cartridge fork instead of inverted fork.

no radial brake unit

no more sport model(aka two split seat type)

no Dual Stage Fuel Injection (DSFI)

like that abit risky leh...wait Honda replace both F4i & RR with NEW model lineup..as expected in 07 model.

very hard to say... F4i is still continuing its production and has never changed since 2001 because of its good sales and popularity especially in the U.S and Europe... so i believe its a good bike in its own way... especially when they are all complaining about the banana seat... but they still bought a new F4i... hmmmm ... dunno why...

stock is 16/46 .... me now oso using 16/44.... dun feel much diff... but i am certain my speedometer is way off.... riding side by side with a gixxer 750/k4 .... his speedo showing 100km/h but mine at 95km/h.... wonder if the inaccuracy will increase when speed increases...

me thinking of converting my chain size to 520 with 15/47 for my next chain/sprocket change...

why u want to -1 +2???

sport bike ratio max is 3... higher than that is dirt bike...:goodluck:

me thinking of converting my chain size to 520 with 15/47 for my next chain/sprocket change...

520 although can be used... bear in mind that the wear & tear are faster... u dont need that 1s off yr lap time, then better stick to the 525... also remember the weight of the bike...:thumb:

his speedo showing 100km/h but mine at 95km/h....

its normal.. if u used 16/48, then its the other way round... :goodluck:

where got the same??? most people r not track oriented... they dont just a bike for track used... i mean most people... so wat they looking for when buying???

some go for design...

but there r some go for comfort, reliabilty, power, fuel comp...etc...

my bike dont have all the things u mention...

somemore 7 yrs conventional fork...

normmal brake unit...

banana seat...

Carburettor

which i need for track....

but i dont need all that when i ride from monday to friday...

so wat to do??? get one more bike????:bouncefire: :bouncefire: :bouncefire:

interested in hi-comp gasket cause heard that it will improve the mid range.i felt when travelling high speed upon reaching 220..the rpm really will go up smoothly or too slow((maybe i too used to the opening of my rs250 valve))).hope the high comp will increase the mid-range..

some pple like to do this do and that to the bike, i felt its ok, as long as the performance helps..so wat if he is not track oriented.he might love hitting top speed/touring/high speed convoy wif frens, the mod-up and good stuffs in the bike might help him..its like a passion..why pple spend thousands on modding-side skit, bumper, sound system, and so on, on their car..cause of passion..he dun need to be a racer or track oriented person to do so.. but to someone, they might say he is a poser, acting racer..but personally, i felt its ok..cause passion..even like putting a simple sticker on the bike, some pple (especially gals) will find it dumb..but to the owner looking at it daily, he might feel shiok cause he love it and its his passion..he might be a poser but he is enjoying his hobby, eventhough some mod won't be practical..conclusion, maybe he need some (lao jiao) to reccommend him, instead of questioing him,:"you think put this will help you increase track timing or make ur car fly))..but maybe he can offer some advice such as:"do you think this is practical, i have done the same mod, last time and its not that useful, the money can be spent on somewhere else"..new guys might understand n seek the advise..

Conclusion:

everyone have different view of bike riding, some just mainly transport.some pure track -oriented,

but some like me,love to gather wif bike fren, common interest, like to mod-up/increase performance, will track but not often, touring (most importantly wif a bunch of biker wif same enthu), love to play but not born a racer(haha)....

so i felt not everything a biker do must really cause of improving track performance or timing, some mod up cause they need more power when going long distance(small drag race)))..there's no right n wrong...never cross ur line n doubt others y u buy a sports bike n dun go track or race...everything :"a word passion"

so long since a meetup, our kori busy sia...

Mine better than yours a bit,

somemore 7 yrs conventional fork...

normmal brake unit...

tandem seat

INJECTION

Still so slow le, wa ha ha.

Every body got different views, some mod really useful. As for me, I would put my invest on handling improvement. As for engine modification, it really "chim" unless u know the fundamental well otherwise it may couse u a big bomb.
