1st experience, 2006, got stop by ROV in Rex along KJE. Stop me for random spot check, my KRR, from head to toe obviously theres lots of things to "bill", even my endcan was actually on the left!!. The ROV asked, "This one what bike?? Aprilla huh?? Whoa nice ah..License, IC & insurance please...O.K, ride safely...". God must be watching me...Phew!!! 2nd) 2007 Stop by LTA on bike, he said, "Whoa!!! License & IC, follow me now for inspection!!", I didnt even manage to greet good morning to him.. Total fine + reinspection = 1k++..Everything not pass, even front signal light not passed... 3rd) 2009, stop by the same LTA, this time I'm on KTM, huuhaaahuuuhaaa, follow him for inspection again!! KNBCCB!!... Lucky to escape with Minor fines only. Aftermarket endcan they did not notice... Phew!!!... Now everything change to stock..had enough of fines, reinspection etc etc... Worst of all unnecessary waste of moolah...

Lube your chain

Here's my way of cleaning: Things needed: A bottle of engine degreasser, WD40, chainlube/wax of any brand. 1) Spray the degreasser on the chain and sprockets generously and spin the back wheel a few times. Then let it works for 5-10mins. (You'll see all the dirt, sand and oil residue drip like nobody business) 2) Wash over the chain with water thoroughly to remove any excess dirt & degreasser. 4) Wipe the chain dry and spray WD40 to remove excess water stuck in between the x-o ring and let it set for 10-15mins. 5) Spray chainlube/wax generously from the inside of the chain followed by the outside. Spin the rear wheel to make sure the lube/wax sits nicely on the chain. 6) Wipe off excess lubes/wax and dont the ride the bike for at least half a day. Results: Shiny chains and sprockets. Lube/wax does not splatter all over the rims. Rarely need to tighten chain & last but not least save money on chain and sprockets wear and tear. I did this twice a month... Just my 2 cents... Hi guys...my speedometer does not work while the tempreture and fuel meter still works... Could it possibly be the cables for the speedo that connects to the front wheel not working?? Will be going back to ASphoon to check later in the late afternoon... Meantime any inputs from ST bro's out there??

Thanks for those inputs guys!!! I'll run on mineral based EO for that few km with regular changing of EO. Will change to fully synthetic EO once really confident that my engine is fully run-in.
