Okay, Im not supposed to post anything else here, but I think my previous post has somehow given the wrong idea, especially the part about the thief. What I was saying is just an example to illustrate how swears are unreliable as I've heard so many of them before. However, I never thought of viknesh as a thief, in fact he's never stolen anything wat....Im terribly sorry if ive given the wrong idea... Ultimately, I have to admit that I was wrong in misunderstanding vik in the first place. However, I do not ask for forgivance, but I just hope that this issue ends here.

I'd be inhuman if i said that u did not help me out(effort-wise) on the online idiot incident. Well, thanks for that. Let me tell you why my perception of you have changed into some money minded person, especially after you got into this bike selling business. And after I decided not to sell the bike , but after I declined your proposal, you no longer wanted to lend it to me, nor sell it to me. Then now I heard (wrongly, i admit) that you're buying another one. That plus the impression that you've given me from the bike selling saga, makes me wonder what are u trying to achieve. Swearing to god or whatever is by no means the truth. For example, thiefs swear they didn't steal. Would you believe them? But it might be the truth too. It doesnt matter now. Since you have only vulgarities and "Sorry no cure", we'll go our seperate ways then. This will be my last reply towards this matter. --------------------------------------------- Okay, i think the part about thiefs seemed to give the wrong message. First and foremost, I've clarified with him. Turns out that I've misinterpreted what he said and got my facts wrong. Before I say anything else, I'm sorry and I apologize for it. Second, you're right, it's your money, you can buy anything you want with it. I did mention that you didn't want to sell me for a profit. Third, yes, there is a powervalve shortage in the used market. But are the vulgarities (f**k, motherf**er) and personal insults (idiot, brains, nus) needed?

ive sent you a pm cheers

edit : ive got my facts wrong

hmm...dont really see your point... although you did mention that "stunts" are crazy on the road. why did experience come in, in the first place? Anyway chances are the uncle is going to live longer than the young punk. It just takes ONE unlucky day. i think i have to agree with dannis. If anyone wants to gain "experience", do it on the track with proper conditions n protection, not on the roads. bus/lorry drives by and that might be your last breath. Live to ride another day. Think about your loved ones.

anybody got valve for sale? or the blanking plate?

the smoke theory applies more for 4 strokes i suppose, u may mistake 2T for smoke... Well actually you don't lose that much power such that u can't go to track, many internet sources quote about 10%...but it's also said that some engines do gain power over the years And I think it's not good to do a hard run-in or entirely soft run-in. An overy soft run-in, as mentioned, will not generate enough pressure on the rings to wear it against the cylinder wall, before the wearing pattern has worn off. For an entirely new bike, you could seriously destroy your bike... Thnk of of your valves (assuming 4stroke), internal bearings, gears, n many other internal moving parts...If you exceed the recommended rpm, you will cause excessive wear n there high chances of premature failure. How about hard acceleration and deceleration, but without exceeding the recommended run-in rpm? ps: these theories apply for brand new, out of factory bikes.

ure gonna overheat ur breaks this way and they'll fade very fast

if blipping causes more petrol n 2T which cool the engine, then the more revs u go, the more cooling effect u get. If that was the case, why dont u rev all the way to redline at the traffic lights? Theres more petrol n 2t, but theres also more heat generated by the combustion. The rationale for blipping is to try to get the coolant moving about the system when ur stuck in jams, while trying to minimize heat generated by the engine by not keeping ur revs too high for too long. In practice, slight blipping did work when i was running coolant/water mixture. but doesn't work with waterwetter/water mixture. It got worse in fact...hehe having richer mixtures of petrol & 2t does make engine cooler. but that's a different issue already, blipping does not seem to affect the mixture...

what i've always been thinking is that the server at the other side is faster, but the black color background seems to be rather discouraging. Additionally, perhaps we can cut down the no. of sections over there, as too many sections will make the forum seem "dead with only 1 or 2 threads per section" when actually isn't. these are juz my opinions on why more people including me visit this thread more frequently than the other forum

ah, that reminds me of the guy with a cloth at the jb moneychanger...haha

3/4 is 3/4, full throttle is full throttle. U only use full throttle to test main jet so that bogging that you have there might be a mistaken case of clip setting too rich, yet main jet can still be too small another common misconception is taking out the plug to see a nice brown color and concluding that the mixture is safe. THAT IS WRONG. A spark plug can only go from white to black, and not backwards. And that blackness u are seeing, most likely only reflects the low-mid range mixture. That's because most of us are riding with 1/3 throttle most of the time. Say for examlpe, ur idle mixture is perfectly nice, and ur clip position seems to be okay too. But your main jet is super low, and u're having problems reaching higher revs. Then you take out the spark plug and see that it's a nice tan. Therefore, you cannot conclude anything by simply looking at the plug at any time. The only way you can conclude anything is to do PLUG CHOPS with NEW spark plugs. Hope this opinion helps you in your jetting decisions.

lol that's not entirely impossible just keep ur bikes in view and u should be ok

if its the neck there, but there should be something holding the valve back and preventing it from dropping in / causing damage but then again, the dimensions of the steel valve may be different from the standard aluminium one also scratches on the piston may not necessarily be caused by valve, rings wear faster at the exhaust port so it may be a case of seizure? do u have any pics?
