Ish... garang nye Hyp3Soul. Marah bila org bazir2 duit. Actually mmg aku tak nak tukar piston ngn piston ring tu, tapi since aku tak tau ape2 benda... aku ikut je ape org kate. Tak tau lah klau dorang tu btul ke tak. Tu psal aku post pat forum... to get help from the bikers out there who are more experience in bikes. Behtu kena marah. Ape seh! haha. Anyway, back to the topic... so when i go there, sruh dorang dismental engine je eh? and dun touch the block? will the alignment run when they part the block from the engine? tu je aku nak tau.

Thanks Hyp3Soul for that very informative respond! I plan to have a full overhaul @ JB. Majority of my biker friends suggest its better to change everyting (piston, piston ring etc) although i've changed before cuz according to them, once the block is opened, the alignment may run and hence can cause inconvenience in the future (scratches, no compression etc). But since u mentioned that these shops charges us for things they never change, den of cuz its wiser to just stay there throughout the process. Also, u mentioned that the process will take very long... i) At most how many hours? ii) Is everyting done there or must they take the parts somewhere to fix? iii) If i reach there in the morning, can get done by afternoon? Okie dokie. Noted. Last question... is RM800 enough for a full overhaul and maybe buy some accessories? Thanks loads bro... really appreciate it. Sorry if i had too many questions cuz i'm still a newbie on bikes. Far lots more to catch up.

Yeah, i agree! The situation happened to me too. I had just rebore my block, change a new piston, piston ring, gasket etc hoping to get rid of the "knocking" sound but to no avail. Wasted $$. Skrg plak, due to new piston, I cant ride fast for say 1000km. Haiz.. Okay, nvm.. what's done cant be undone. Now face the future problems. I realise the sound came from a lose con-rod (connecting rod). My mechanic says in order to change the con-rod, have to overhaul the bike. Is it true? Got some doubts to be cleared: 1) What do they do when they overhaul a bike? What are the parts they change? Do overhauling include replacing a new block? 2) If replacing a new block part of the process, can it be excluded? Cuz my block had just rebore and piston plus piston ring had just change. It will certainly save some cash and spare me from the inconveniences of having to ride slow again. 3) I dont plan to overhaul any sooner but does riding a bike with lose con-rod post any dangers? (Eg: piston jam etc) 4) Do anyone has a visual aid (pictures) showing a connecting rod? I just wanna take a look what in the world is that. ** ATTENTION to FARIS: You mentioned some time ago that you just overhauled your bike. How much it cost? Is the price range between $400 to $500? tu mmg betul lah. tu psal aku ngah cari org yang bleh pinjamkan aku. at least stakat 2 - 3 hari je. pas inspection, aku kasi alek lah exhaust pipe dia. bukan lame sngt pe inspection. ah! tu psal lah aku nak tukar kpd original pipe. kwan aku aru kena $500 for exhaust mod. tak murah siol $500. mcm2 aku bleh buat. so sblum terlambat, aku rather tukar pi ori nye pipe. but for the time being, tight budget lah. mane nak korek duit sak. paling2 pn nak kena pkai $100. aku nak lepaskn inspection dulu cuz road tax aku pn nak kat expired. lmbat renew road tax, ade additional fees plak tu. btul nye mata duitan ah LTA. haha! buat kat tekak? yelah... mcm lah aku. tu hari lalu BKE ade TP ngan ROV. mula2 TP nye kreta park pat KJE exit pastu depan lagi plak ROV nye motor pat road shoulder. jantung berdegup2 sak. haha. psal fibre... aku pn tak tau ar. rase2 aku buang duit je tukar fibre. hehe. skarang bottom line.. kena juge cari pipe 3bs ori punye. duit kluar lagi!!!! arghhh!!! bankrupt siol aku camni.

Okay... Aku rase aku kena tukar tu exhaust ah. Inspection nak dekat. Aku beli tu rxz pn exhaust dah kena modified. Haiz. Duit lagi kopak. So tu 3bs pipe yang biasenye dorang pkai pat rxz eh? legal kan? Aku ni skit slow... maklumlah newbie dalam motor. Haha.

3bs standard pipe is it the original pipe utk RXZ? If so, aku pn nak tau mane nak dpt (pat singapore) and brp it cost. And btw, klau nak tukar the bulb utk headlight and tail light and battery motor, patne bleh dpt and how much likely it will cost? Sape2 di luar sane bleh tolong? ngah tight budget this month. Nak kena plan the money flow well. thanks!!

Kwan2 smua... Kita ingin tahu the pressure (PSI) untuk tayar Dunlop T900 80/80? Brp nak kena set pat pump machine tu? My bike depan ngn blakang pkai same tayar (T900 80/80). Dua2 tayar kena same pressure? ke depan dgn blakang nk kena lain?

brp km tu aku tak brp pasti ar. tapi aku refill setiap kali engine oil dah nak kat abis. Clutch setting nak kata kn dekat juge. aku pernah adjust jauh.. tapi dia nye 'biting' point pn same ikut jauh. Kemungkinan juge that may be the problem. Aku cuba re-adjust dia nye clutch settings. Thanks for the advice!

A'kum smua! Nak minta nasihat skit pat sini. My rxz ade masalah dgn gear shifting. Setiap kali nak shift up to gear 4 and 5, its either the gear lever got stuck and langsung takleh shift or nak kena pkai force so that the gear lever can go up. Klau pkai force pn, ade bunyi "tuck" (mcm ade benda yang langgar pat dlm gearbox). My lower gears (gear 1, 2 and 3) are alright, cuma nak masuk gear 4 yang payah. Kadang2 smpai my foot bengkak nak tendang tu gear lever. Some of my frends kata, its bcuz of the engine oil. Tapi i'm not really quite sure. Kemungkinan ade benda lain yang tak dpt dipastikn. So hope to get some advice dari sini on ape yang bleh dibuat ataupn ape yang harus diperbuat utk smoothen the gear shifting. Terima Kasih.

Greetings everyone! Finally found this topic. Was looking through and noticed that most paint works mentioned among the posts are for sportsbikes like those KRR, SP, S4 etc. So i was wondering, how bout those non-sportsbikes like RXZ and Wave etc? I plan to get an RXZ and after getting it, will be sending for some paint works. Hence, i'm in need of assistance of anyone who knows of a cheap and reliable shops which does RXZ paint works. If possible, do quote a price example as well. Hope to get some assistance here. Thanks. =)
