  1. I know Planet at Ubi charges about $30 for the administrative fee. Reasonable fee in my opinion if you don't want to go through all the hassle! He can do a check for you too.
  2. I have heard about DirectAsia but not sure if I liked what I heard. Apparently if you got into an accident (and by no fault of yours), they can refuse to insure you.
  3. I am not sure if it is really called fairings but I am talking about the plastic painted parts of a MP3 250cc. I would like to get 1 in perhaps black or white so I was wondering if it would be cheaper to paint it or order the fairings. Anyone has any idea?
  4. Hi, I was wondering if there are places / people who can do this for me? I would love to have some modifications done to the current ride I am riding - piaggio mp3 250cc. Thanks!

    Brand new Fino

ask around at looi etc. you should easily be able to get a quote over the phone. Last i checked was 5-6k thereabouts otr.
  6. Tried a vespa, it is a little higher than the other scooters but stanco is right, it's easy to stand while on the scooter. height doesn't really hurt
  7. Do you have a local number or email address? :)

  9. @whyzee hehe. I own a small cc scooter already. Right now it is for zipping around etc. The GS1200 looks really cool but am not too sure when I tried my friend's ride - the legs were dangling - can't reach the ground at all. @SparkerS1 haha fried balls.
  10. @S750WP wahh. Looks really cool. Is it just me, but to me the street bikes looks very very similar. -.- I am also concerned about availability of parts / price. Plus, ah chong from P***** doesn't do much of the other brands (ok, weird factor but I really enjoy going to him)
  11. @babyain Actually, I guess the type of ride I try out is very varied - have not found something that I really can stick to yet. haha my fault I guess - see more bikes, end up more gian. What are you riding now? heh
  12. Hmm I am stuck as I would want to invest in a bike that will stick with me for a very long time - most likely getting it brand new rather than 2nd hand. Best not to make any costly mistakes Would you all be able to help out with the cons / pros of various rides? hehe.
  13. So much choices but CBR600's outlook looks like a sport bike it seems? Am not totally liking the idea of a sports bike; it would be nice to sit comfortably... haha
  14. Whoops. Then I wonder what was the 200cc bike I tried in Thailand.
  15. Oh am actually kind of for side panniers that would fit FF helmets.
  16. Not necessary, have rode on cruisers before and kind of like it although the last cruiser I tried was a steed and was a little on the heavy side. haha. Would the FZ8 be cooler?
  17. Your budget can give you a rather wide selection... Why not a honda PCX? It is relatively new plus fuel consumption is really good. Furthermore, it is 200cc. I don't think there are much good cruisers around.. phantoms are great, but they have a problem with fishtailing due to the heavier rear.
  18. Hi, would like to enquire if there are suitable models in the class 2 region especially for ladies? As for height, definitely would have to lower the seat since I am on tip-toes for the yamaha fz6 motorbikes at CDC. Any bikes that is rather easy to handle plus have good storage spaces? I would think that FZ6 models are fine, but it tends to get a little hot while it is idling. Please help!
  19. Did you managed to fix side boxes? Where did find the crashbar for Twister?
  20. Have previously rode on a Phantom, then to a recently acquired Steed which was quite problematic. Am looking to change to a new bike now and saw a few options being the Yamaha FZ16, Vespa LX150 Twister 250 Yes, I know weird options but I am looking for affordable motorcycles for commutation. Of course style and reliability would be a plus!
