Thanks a lot Servo...i dont know much abt insurance scene here..but when i checked with my collegues riding other sports bikes they were quoting me 300+ for 3rd party,fire and theft. This 600 which NTUC quoted me was for 3rd party alone..so i thought it was way high..for fire and theft they were quoting 900SGD. I used to ride aprillias in UK nd there it was arnd 400 pounds but the bike MV was abt 4000 pounds...So it made sense... Anyways thanks again...

Thanks a lot for the Quick reply... Well the confusing part here is i met one mech at a shop at mayo street ( If i spell it correct) he told me that he can insure the bike (3rd party) at Mitsui insurance..But when i called mitsui they say they dont do Rs125 and RS250.. will call up ideal motors tomorrow and see wether they can do it for me..if they cant the only option is to drop the bike..as paying 600 dollars for a 1000+ dollar bike with 2 year coe to go is not worth ...my personal feeling though...

Guys need a small help from you all...i am looking to buy an aprillia RS125. In fact i have already fixed on one bike (98 model)...but the problem is when i called the insurance companies, no one is ready to insure the rs125..No one is even quoting an amount they simply reject!!! NTUC quoted 3rd party as 600SGD...I dont understand y they dont insure. Could you guys help me on this. Any idea who can do it..Know of any bike shops can do it for me... About me: I am a PR here working for an Oil major as a Oil Trader...Was driving previously in another country but converted to SG license one month back... Rgds Jay
