  1. Hi, I bought a wrong ECU for R15 (BRT I-MAX JUKEN Programmable for fz-150 instead) because I thought it's the same engine. The question is, is it possible to 'jump' the ECU cable to the R15 v1? Or I just sell this and get a new ecu instead? (I'm in Sydney btw, no fz-150 here, so I need to send it back to malay/indon)
  2. Hi, do you guys know where to buy performance part for R15-v1 on Kuala Lumpur? I'd like to get the exhaust, K&N air filter, and if possible, programmable ECU.
  3. It's the speedo sensor. Disconnect the sensor (before it screwed up your whole electrical system like mine) and replace it.
  4. Hi, anyone know how much is speed sensor for V1 cost? Mine is busted..
  5. Hi all, my r15 v1 suddenly got the engine check light on. I was driving casually in city and going for 110 in highway and it suddenly light up. Any idea what's going on? >_ The code is ( X___X___X___X___XX ) Edit: Found the problem. Code 42, Speed sensor / Neutral switch.. Yesterday the speed indicator suddenly not working, but today is fine. Is there any way to reset the engine check light easily? Edit again: It suddenly gone after I leave it overnight. Weird and good things
  6. I think 95 is better. 92 is yellow here . 95 blue, 98 red. (shell) Different on each brand and country I guess. Lots of Nolan here. Price range around $250-600. Is someone know part number of the R15 fuel pump? Edit: got it. 3C1-E907-00. I found the part catalog for 2010 R15 (54C2 & 54C3_2011)
  7. Maybe depends on the compression rate as well. R15 only 10.4 so 92 fuel is enough. Hmm.. never seen the YSS suspension in the shop here. Maybe need to order directly. But so far that I know, nothing is cheap here. > The weird thing is, the cost to maintain a car is cheaper than bike. Accord euro service only cost $200 normally. Can't get the logic why bike service is more expensive here.
  8. I'd slap a "nonsense" to your mechanic back in Aussie about our bike not being able to take in RON98 furl I've used 95, 97 and 98 rating. So far so good. As long as it's not leaded it will be fine. And people here is Singapore are complaining workshops here are a killer.. haha! Yay, come on over and get the parts and enjoy the sunny/ humid weather. We could even meet for a drink or 2 to talk more about bike and life. Ride safe! Well. All ppl here says v-power is not really good. Too much additive. Better get 98 caltex or BP Ultimate. (Based on riders here). Aussie bike shop are ripping our money. Normal service cost me $350. (Oil and filter included). So I always do it my own. Nothing much to do on this R15. I'm going to singapore in 2 weeks XD. But only for 3 days >
  9. Thanks! I might just wait till I going there in couple of weeks. Coz last couple of days the bike suddenly stalled and won't start at all in the middle of the road after I ride it about 5KM. (Air temp 40C ) So I got it towed to the bike shop. Yesterday I called them. They said nothing wrong with the bike. They can start it normally (weird). They just said that this particular bike can't use 98octane fuel (I use shell v-power all time) Not much. Everyone prefers litre bike here. I still prefer this R15 coz it's economic and I'm only use it on CBD (speed limit 50).
  10. Hi, I just found this forum recently. I'm using R15 in Sydney. Got a problem with the fuel pump. Is anyone know if R15 v1 fuel pump is the same as yamaha v-ixion (indonesian bike) part number 3C1/PT.CHAO LONG CO.,LTD ? Mine is just suddenly died. And they quote me with staggering AU$450 (SGD 580) for that!
