daniel: i went down on sunday afternoon...

 

alvin: we can be paid up to $35 per hour... my current pay is $15... my head coach pay is double of mine... previously his pay was $35 per hour but coz the sch employ me then his pay drop to $30/hr... he must have hated me when the school offered me the contract..

lol this is wad i heard la. smu biz grads earn the most out of the 3 unis, followed by ntu, den lastly nus.

need NCAP Theory n Technical cert level 1 which is NCAP level 1 full cert for taekwondo...

 

but i think they dun need le leh...

maybe wait for sir raj to retire then can lor...

haha..

the sch now is super ngeow... unwilling to give much funds to the sport...

unlike ntu...

ntu where gt gd...piang...last yr cut off duno hw many IVP sports. f**k 1

tkd 1 of d victim oso altho we every yr oso win. gt sum sports they keep dun even haf top 3 placing 1.duno wat they tinking..

ya.. starting pay is one consideration factor. but most of the time buay zun one. cos u dont even know how they got their statistics from.

maybe the other thing u should consider is which uni easier to get a better class. haha.. eventually people(employer) will look at your class of honours for sure.

i trying to find time for my level 2 n oso first aid course...

then i can apply for National Registry Of Coaches(NROC)...

got NROC can apply for People's Association Coaching Licence...

after that can teach in CC...

yea ntu biz is 3yr direct honours

nus is not.wan honours need 4 yrs.

smu i not sure.

nway every1 will haf diff opinions as to which sch to go to.

class honours depends hw competitive is ur cohort loh

if every1 damn smart, chao super mugger, den of cse more diff to score loh

 

and btw i tink honours only impt if ya applying for those management associate progs which demand at least a 2nd Upper and usu 1st class honours. For normal entry-level jobs, tink relatively nt so impt liao. n hor starting pay is impt i will say, because ur pay progression will be based on tt. imagine ur starting is 2.2k, den after u work say 1 yr u wan jumpship, pple look at ur initial 2.2, prolly they offer u 10% increase? gif u 2.4 or wat. But if u start high at say 2.8k, wan jump to 3k plus faster. even if its internal promotion, ur 2.8k oso will get increase to 3+k. But of cse all this is oso performance based la.

If not tk accounting loh, starting 2.2k, 1st promotion +$500, 2nd +$800. Prolly take 2-3 yrs to hit 3.5k.

haha... ya.. actually im quite interested in accounting oso... but heard ntu accounting quite hard to get in rite? does the order of choices in the application matters or not ah? for eg.. i put accting first choice, followed by biz, and if i dun get into acct, another person having same grades as me.. but he put biz as first choice, the other person will hav a higher chance of getting in rite?

think the ranking is not like what u said.

The system goes by ranking all the students according to their A level resuts then allocate their choice accordingly. ie. if the ranked 1000th student didnt get his 1st choice(accounting) becos of no vacancies, he will get his 2nd choice(business). it will not be the case that the ranked 1001th student will get his 1st choice(business).

 

hope the above example is clear.

SO to conclude.. dont worry!! just state your preference in order. that's y people has the term students chosing the course. or course chosing student.

 

If you get into accounting there will be lotsa girls to choose liao.. haha.. mostly all guai guai type. since you like non-ah lians. haha..
