I brought this up to ADH and it was diagnosed as front brake pad gone.So changed new pads after only 7K mileage mainly on Singapore highway riding. Now after 1K of riding with new pads, sound is back.Going to visit them again real soon.

Thanks for all the replies, guys. I have a good feeling that my front pads may be worn out - current mileage is 6,500+KM.

I wonder would ADH change it for free under warranty.

to me, fuoco electronics are not as good as the Jap bikes.. tat's one reason why i dare not disturb too much of the electronics stuff on this bike.. i wanted to put led lights, scanner lights, but after thinking again, i guess i better dun.. lol, dun want trouble to come looking for me..

After a little bit of pushing they only charged me for 1.But since more is having this issue I guess it should be claimable for both, right?

LOL... I guess you muz be tat customer which ADH mentioned to me today that had the issue!! Anyway - I did not do anything in ADH since it is chargeable - considered normal wear-tear. At least, they said that no warranty void if I change it elsewhere.

OK - I confirmed that it is true - the original front brake pads of a new Fuoco wears out faster. My bike mileage is about 6,500KM for 7mths. Only made one trip to KL on NSH. Mainly used for commuting. However, I usually have a habit to use front braking more than both front/rear braking.

Went to ADH to have the grinding sound diagnosed - it was cause be worn out brake pads. Not cover under warranty as it is deemed as wear-tear. Since it is chargeable, I decided to go elsewhere to change.

Decided to try Botak @ Wonderful.

Changed front pads to GoldFren - Carbon-Ceramic pads (Type No: 137). Not that I chose, but the mech automatically brought out those.

Compatible other makes of pads is Ferodo (FDB2056) (which I would have preferred).

Also took the chance to change my EO (MotoBest 10W/40 semi) and oil filter (OEM prt No. 82960R).

Note: W/motor only carries MotoBest brand of EO (something I would also not prefer).

Now - grinding sound is gone. Brake lever free-play significantly improved (less free-play now).

Fuoco riders: Go check your front brakes. How to check? From the pin, the gap should be about index-finger-wide. If you see the gaps are very narrow - it means time to change pads. There's no other way to see the actual balance of pads as the calipers are facing inwards.

LL juz now rewire everyting properly hope it goes back to normal..
