was feeling boring today and hands itchy, so decided to do another DIY on my ride.

both headlight on mod.

IMG_1870.JPG

fuoco will only hav either low beam or highbeam on if u switch either 1 ( unless u press passing light)

wat dis mod does is when u switch to highbeam, both low and highbeam will on together.

gt dis mod from MV forum

its consumes more battery cos it now run 4x35w bulbs(0.6v more)

but i switch my highbeam bulbs to LED so its didnt affect my power cumsumption

it will act as a pole light

below pic is from MV forum

http://www.rezolutionphoto.com/photos/889996594_Qcsy5-M.jpg

wif dis connection, u cant hav only yr highbeam on.

wat i do is i did a switch so my highbeam will work as per normal.

was washing my bike juz now, open my seat to found water inside (not surprise as its a known issue), so i decided to find out where it actually goes in.

to my surprise there r 4 entry place.

IMG_1878.jpgIMG_1877.jpgIMG_1879.jpgIMG_1880.jpg

these r e places e water will rest and eventually goes down into e deeper compartment.

do not place any electronic stuff there (usually we juz put helmet so its ok)

i do hav a cloth at e deeper compartment to absorb e water.

lastly its a video of how it went in.

if use silicone to seal up the leaking holes, will we be able to remove the side fairing in future or will it be stuck forever?

Hi guys, I just bought a 2nd hand 2008 Fuoco. Quite noob to this bike as i previously ride a DRZ. Appreciate if u guys can advise. Everything was fine abt the bike except that it stalls quite frequently when coming to a stop. And if it doesn't stall, i noticed that the RPM would drop to 1000 then back to 1500 which is my idling RPM. Anyone ever encounter this prob? The bike came with Leo Vince exhaust and the air box was removed and changed to an after market air filter. Could it be due to the previous owner never do a proper jetting after changing the exhaust and air filter? So the bike is running lean? And which is a good reputable shop that specialize in gilera i can go to to solve this prob?

problem might be yr aftermarket air filter not letting it "breath" properly

for simple and free trouble shoot, try switching back to stock and see how it is 1st.

cos i haven heard changing exhaust will stall e bike.

or u can try tuning it.

try tai hin.

Yesterday i just went to global motor to look for Ah Boon coz he was mention to be quite good with fuoco in one of the earlier threads here. Unfortunately, he wasn't there. Maybe I'll try Tai hin then. Thanks Bro Chubb.

hi bro Geraldian77, i encounter this problem before, sometimes the engine will die off when coming to complete stop, i'm not very sure what causes it to happen. I sent back to Piaggio Service Centre for them to tune the bike, after that problem solved.. but now after another 5000km, i got the same problem again.. sianz.. i think i might have to go back to the HQ for tuning again..

I'n not sure whether Tai Hin got the tools to tune Fuoco, if got, i will definitely go down Tai Hin as the HQ need to book appointment and wait long long.. lol.. Bro Chubb, any idea whether Tai Hin does tuning???

Hey bro william, i just went taihin earlier. They told me that this is a common prob with fuoco. Couple with the change of after market air filter made it worst coz fuoco is not carburetted but fuel injected. So unlike carburetted bikes like nexus or mp3. Theres no way to tune the ECU to get a proper air fuel ratio of air filter mods n exhaust mods. Altho effects of exhaust mods is not that great on adding to the stalling prob. In a way or another, it does affect. They can't do much abt it as well. Right now there isnt any after market piggy back or stand alone ECU for fuoco like the PCIII used for fuel injected rd bikes n racing bikes. If agent can do the magic. I dun mind letting them do the job. This prob is getting on my nerves. Hey, btw if u guys have any meet up. Do inform me. Would like to have more kakis. My no. 91710510. Gerald.

Hey bro kimhwee.. Its not easy looking for 1 coz its kinda rare. Agent only bring in a few units only. I would say quite a number of ppl are actually looking for 1 as well. I mean if u are really interested. I might wanna let go. Not becoz the bike got prob or whatsoever. I love the looks of the bike n the attention ppl give. But i felt that its not the type of bike for me. Im actually quite a track junkie. So still prefer a bike which i can track with. Most probably wanna go back to motards. So before i decided to post my sales. I just let u know 1st. Call me if u interested yeah? 91710510.
