Yes ride safe no matter who's at fault, the biker usually comes off worse.

No matter how alert we are, other road users may not be aware of their surroundings and how fast bikes are to pop up the next instant.the other vehicles involved will usually say,"I didn't see him coming,he appeared out of nowhere..."

I've been riding for twenty plus years and I'm still fearful when I get on my bike, but i like riding...also to act and keep cool always on our stressful roads,so ride safe first, better late than ......

I am a motorist for almost 20 years. Even i drive most of the time, a lot of motorists' attitude on thr road has worsen through the years.. Better to be sure than assume.. Always try to anticipate road users' action..

Just as how I thought it happened. A rider would rarely just lose control of the bike. Too many drivers like to change lane assuming it is clear hence never check their blindspots. R.I.P. fellow rider. Encounter this pretty much every single day. Always assume drivers never see you.

Car driver must be educated. I often experience car changing lane eithout signal or split second after they start the manouver. The smartphone is major

Culprit as well as putting on make up or writing/reading paper!

Feel sorry for the biker. Life squandered by an accident thatcould have been avoided.

I saw the video of him riding on the line between 2 vehicles. He picked up speed when the car next to him also picked up speed attempting to change lane ending up in a side to side collision with the biker sliding underneath the lorry on the other side of the road.

Ride safe guys.

Just sharing. Used to give high beam when I filter or overtake. However since so many times drivers seem oblivious to high beam I now use horn. Safer that way. The problem is driver change lane process is first start maneuvers, second turn on blinkers

the thing is that any idiot can buy a ferrari or lambo..even a 19 year old kid .

also in car..the mentality is that if anything goes wrong u will be okay..unlike bike.

thats why i try to stay ahead of traffic and never be parallel to a car

dats wat he was trying to do but in order to be ahead, u will be parallel for a moment... its unfortunate the car change lane at this exact moment. 1 sec earlier or later, likely to be a different outcome

Does anyone know if the car driver is charged? Need to set example. Yesterday a taxi changed lane abruptly

No updates. Taxis do that too often. Horn and they see a bike they continue. But if they see a bigger vehicle they quickly return to the lane they were at.

Looking at the clip, it reminded me that i was owned by a Suzuki Swift at CTE when I was on my VFR couple of years back. Was flanked from the side. Next thing I knew, my bike was horizontally spinning across me while i was somersaulting at the center lane of the expressway. When i finally stopped and opened my eyes, the very thing i saw was the bumper of a taxi in my face lol.

Guess what the driver from the red Suzuki Swift didn't even bother to stop...

There are tonnes of drivers like the one in the video. Stop riding while you still can fellow brothers and sisters. Just my 2cts.

For me, my riding journey continues..... while it last =)
