hello i'm planning to buy a used bike.

honda sp or kawa krr

currently holding class 2b license.

21 years old this year man.

i don't really know about buying bike thoese transfer fee la wat la

so please let me know how much do i need to buy a used motor.

i want my motor under my name.

if you got a good offer also let me know.

Getting a bike is easy actually. Here are the following things that will have to be taken into account.

 

1) Motorcycle Machine Price (I.e. Only the bike price itself, nothing else counted in yet) - For SP or KRR, just check around the Garage Sales Used Bike Forums to find one. Prices may vary for year of bike and mileage and whatever the seller claims the bike to be.

2) Insurance (This can be done with NTUC, Mitsui, AXA, Allianz... etc.) - Insurance cost vary also with the type of bike like chopper/kup kia/sports, year of bike registration, bike brand rider's age, rider's number of riding years which is counted from the day you attained your 2B license, and quite a number of needed information.

3) Transfer Fee (To change ownership of the bike) - Transfer fee cost can vary from less than a $100 to maybe $200+. This is the part where the bike can be placed under your name. Transfer of bike can be done at LTA yourself. Normally this fee on most occasions, it'll come to an agreement that the buyer bears the cost.

 

This 3 is pretty much about it in getting yourself on the road. Pointers 2 & 3 can be carried out at a Bike Shop to do the processing for you, which may take a day and carries a small fee of maybe $20 to $40, in case you feel travelling around maybe troublesome.

 

Anyone else, feel free to add on to what I've given, I may not be totally accurate. Still a noob.

kr and sp machine price about the same 2-3k depending on the age and condition of the bike.. insurance sp cheaper... do ur research before buying.. don b a carot head

left two choice... buy KRR or Phantom.....

i like sports bike but i'm quite big in size :/

i scared later i look funny when riding sports :/

but i'm not so fat la lol

 

anyway what is overhauled? =p

is that good thing?
