btw to those who wanna change battlax tyres in msia. do take note. the originals are more expensive there than in spore(lab and hkl). the cheaper ones are not the originals. been toldby a few bike shops over msia....

:goodluck:

My fren parked his bike illegally along the alley of Raffles Mrt there. There are other bikes also including R1 & CBR but somehow my fren bike is the chosen one.His bike is handle lock and everything

My fren bike is the Red Pulsar.Later model of the 2nd version.those that comes with the engine kill. His Bike No is FBA 6946 C .Anybody who saw the bike, please let me know.

Since Alex have already said,he will be busy lately i guess its better to just organise a meet-up/kopi session....anybody interested for next week on friday nite?

Sorry to hear that bro. In fact, two weeks after i got my pulsar in OCT, i also skidded in your scenario. Back then was the rainy season. Nothing serious cos i had crash bar back then. SO it was the only thing that bend. I took it out after tat. I changed my rear tyre after tat.

Then on the first day of CHinese New Year, i had another accident. This time i hit the left rear of a car. With my little sister as pillion. Lucky she wasnt hurt. I suffered multiple abrasions on my right side. But i did all my repairs already. This time round i changed my front tyre as well.

If i recalled correctly, these are some of the things i asked about the cost @ Universal.

handle bar = $36

entire headlamp (excluding bulb) = $65

signal light = $18

Brigdestone front tyre = $75

Bridgestone rear tyre = Shd be $85

Body Steering support = $20

Rubber foot rest = $3

The spare parts are not that expensive, judgin from your fall, it wasnt that serious. Even for my 2nd accident, the bike still looks ok. But im learning from my mistakes. So now gaining back my confidence to ride as normal. Anyway, take care....Life is PRICELESS.

Scary leh, the stock tyres skid so easily in rain.

Change also need to spend $$$, haiz......

Need to consider.

Have to take extra care when riding in rain.

:sorry: to hear about the accident. Main thing we learn thru mistake. Well if you thing yr live worth alot then changing the cost of the type wont feel a pinch as our life is priceless, no matter how rich u are u cant buy it back. So do take care. Hmmm for my case during raining season my bike will wobble whenever i brake on a straight n before turning. So now i am onli prepare for normal braking but if i have to e-brake think i will fall and have an accident as i cant control it with the stock tire.

You guys should tell Universal to change the stock tires to a more reliable one when selling their bike. After all, how many are so lucky to survive a fall?

If too often Pulsar were seen lying on the roads, do you think that's a "GOOD" advertisement for them?
