Well, using pilot lights as hazard lights not advisable la cos behind cant see u on hazard lights cos only the front is blinking.

UG3 confirm no condenser. i opened the head cowling, side cowling, tank oso didnt see any condenser like thing. only got 1 pc that looks like a condenser which i trial n error pluck out n try the signal still flickers.... so ......

it was hard opening the head cowling... dun mention putting it back as 1 pc like original. took me n my fren 2 hours plus to remove, find the condenser, then put back again...its a hard job man trust me.

no orange color condenser...

saw only 1 black color one but detach it the signal lights still can blink so not the blinker relay.

anyway traced the signal wires ... they go into an electrical box sealed off with silicon and the wires cannot be detach from it oso... hence came to the conclusion... UG3 has got no condenser. the electrical box control most of the stuff...

yes there is 2 black big hood silicon kind of stuff in the head cowling. both right n left signal wires are in each of it. i dug out everything in there, trial n error by removing every clip i could find but is either the signal lights blink or never light up at all so all clips in there do not lead to the condenser.

however, recalling what i figured out, the main bunch of wire from the signal high/low beam console on the handle bar goes straight into an electrical box... which i presume is controlling all the lighting stuff into the blinking of the signals.

if u all 1 2 tap a hazard light switch like mine, i suggest u all tap from the rear left where the wire to the rear signal lights wires are cos to take out the head cowling is not going to be an hour's job...

REMOVING THE HEAD COWLING N DIGITAL SPEEDO...

1. got to remove the bubble.

2. unscrew 4 top screws on the digital speedo

3. unscrew 2 more screws under each front signal. 6 screws out the speedo can move liaoz.

4. unscrew 2 screws below the head cowling where a metal plate usually for holding the license plate. this 2 screw removed , will also remove a small magnet which is used to cut off the signal after u corner.

5. above these 2 screws there are another 2 screws.. remove them.

6. then if needed, unscrew 4 screws holding handlebar so that the handlebar can tilt backwards to wards the tank abit for eaiser access.

7. lift the speedo up to max height ( cos wire is holding it to a max height) unscrew another 2 screws at each side, near the signal lights.

8. the head cowling can be removed.

9. unplug the rectangular socket from the electrical box to the digital speedo.(doing this will reset ur trip meter in the speedo when u fix back. mileage remain unerased.)

10. find 1 thin grey wire for right front signal and 1 green thin wire for left signal, the clip are oso grey n green respectively. both signal wires have a ground which is black, clip oso black color.

11. remove both clips the whole speedo console is off the front.

12. if u need to replace the pilot lights or headlight u can do so now as the head cowling is free.

FIXING BACK THE HEAD COWLING.

1. make sure all clips are connected back, leaving out the rectangular box that leads to the speedo.

2. screw back the 2 screws that was holding the head cowling on both sides, near the signal lights.

3. reconnect the digital speedo rectangular connector.

4.position the digital speedo so is has space to fit into the head cowling.

5. screw back the 2 screws holding the head cowling from below.

6. screw back the 2 screws holding the license plate holder together with the magnet plastic thingy.

7. switch on test if all lights are working n functioning ok.

8. fit speedo back into position and screw back 4 top screws and 2 screws below the signal lights.

9. screw back the bubble.

10. readjust the handlebar if u changed it position juz now.

11. done.

The hard part is to fit the head cowling back into position to have the first 2 side screws to be tighten or in place... that should take the most time.

bro waadee...

for brake pad hor... i havent changed mine yet but last time my s4 i got change b4...

here goes.....

1. we dunno wat model the brake pad is so if u r not going to universal to get the pads, u 1 2 save $$$ ( DIY will save u significant amount of $$$ hahaha) and 1 2 drop by LAB n get the motoGP pads, ride to LAB.

2. park. unscrew the screws holding the calipers of the brakes so that they are free from the fork.

3. no need to unscrew the screws hold the calipers juz get a piler pull out the retaining pin(s) the pad will free fall from the calipers.

4. grab the pads get a new same model ( the retaining pin holes same)

5. replace the new pads into the caliper, use piler(better if is a long nose piler) to put the retaining pins back,

6. slide the caliper back into position ...

7. tighten the screws back to the fork.

8. done.

1 word of caution - when u removed the caliper from the brake disc make sure NO ONE taps the front brake lever. once the hydraulic fluid flows and makes the piston to close the pads, u gonna have a hell of a time to push them back into free position.

ok DIY u peeps 1 2 DIY wat first?

EO change?

hazard lights?

carb removal wash n tune?

EO change n hazard light seems the easier ones compared to carb removal... cos hzard light if u 1 2 do something like mine... in fact i think UG3 only can do a hazard light like that la...tap the wires from the rear, it will save alot of time.

carb removal wash n tune abit tricky... 12 fix back the carb back after everything not quite straight forward.

I suggest hazard lights 1st cos it's crucial compared to the others. Even tho I already have hazard lights, I'll still turn up lah. Maybe at the end, u can help me to just tune my bike without removing n washing the carb.
