joajas Bros, those who are waiting for method 1. I've got to apologise to ur. Guess ur have to go for method 2. Method 1 is very expensive and tedious. I have not managed to do it cause I have run out of funds. Currently I have 2 NC relays which is not enough. You will have to cut the original connectors cause sim lim tower does not sell the connector that our bike use. You will need lots of wires.

The flasher cost S$12 each and the relay cost S$15 each. Wires that I bought are S$0.50 per meter.

1. I exchange the relay to NC. The connection for NC is different from NO. It has pin 85 and 86 for the coil, pin 30 for common, pin 87a for normally closed and pin 87.

2. That means I have to short the front and the rear light to achieve the same thing. The proper way should be 2 relays per light ( will explain that in a while).

3. What i did is short both positive lines of the front and rear RHS lights (coming from the control box), short the positive lines of the front and rear RHS lights (coming from the light bulb). I left the "ground" line untouched.

When i turn on the turn signal everything works fine.

when I turn on the hazard with the flasher connected and ignition off, nothing happens. no light nothing.

4. So i take out every connection and using a multimeter I measured the connections. Here's what I found.

The signal light wires coming from the box have nearly zero resistance when i measured the resistance between the positive and negative line. when signals are not turned on both lines are shorted to "ground".

The thing is I am not sure if it is connected straight to ground or to something else.

5. Verdict I will have to do more test before I can conclude on the final method.

So my advice is for the bros waiting for method 1 to go for method 2. Method 1 is too costly and time consuming. I spent 5 hours on the bike and cannot succeed. I have run out of funds to get more relay.

I will still drop by for the diy, but I will not be doing anything. Maybe I can share what I found out about the electricals of the bike.

Sorry if i have caused any inconvenience to the bros here.

Paiseh, your H4 light is with me. I will pass it to you during the diy.

I read thru ur stuff..

Mayb u should ground the relay oso to achieve the whole close circuit.

ya i agree that the box is zero resistant cos when current pass thru both speedo n signal will have lights its vice versa u see?

by side u r not wrong 1 relay can support 2 lights... y still cannot light up?

I've PM-ed Noraachan, Blueyeagle & Adriel78. Basically, Noraachan & Blueyeagle are switching to Method 2. Just waiting for their confirmation that they're not gonna wait for Method 1. Yet to hear from Adriel78. If they dun respond by tonite, then just go ahead & buy 3 sets. If after that Adriel78 wanna wait for Method 1, his set can be offered to Night_Hawk who can't make it this Sat.

Bros Noraachan & Blueyeagle, can I confirm that u're switching to Method 2?

Bro Adriel78, pls indicate whether u're switching to Method 2 or gonna wait for Method 1.

Thanks.

As for the picture showed, it is a 220cc DTS-FI (Fuel Injection) model but not available in Singapore this year. May be next year perhaps.

So, get ready Class 2A before it launch in Singapore next year.

ok 4 sets + 1 ( if bro night_hawk interested)

should buy by thursday or friday.

This is wat Im going to do. I will be placing the flasher/condenser near the screw for tank removal (see my pictures posted previously), from the Lone wolf wire, i will tap the current from, to the flasher then from the flasher 2 2core wires go under the tank ( im not going to take out the tank cos unlike s4 service carb change plugs got to remove the tank so even the wires under the tank will not block anything.) both 2 cores go to the DPST switch then the remaining 2 core wire end will be tapped into the rear signals cos the head cowling is really damn hard to remove.

A little bit diff set** from mine existing one cos mine is into the head.

Those doing method 2 for UG3 fine with my set**?

should be la hor hehehehehe.

countdown 3 more days u will have hazardlights.... i will not be alone... hehehe

Night_Hawk definitely interested. Just that he can't make it this Sat cos he's overseas, I think. So maybe can buy for him 1st and then arrange for a pte DIY session with him, just like wat Paiseh's doing for Outspoken.
