Like Cheeko said s$165 maybe U can share a set wif him. I dun mind selling u guys the high tension cables + connectors but they might not be similar in size.

If U guys buy from Autobac - they can install as well right ?? Do take the trouble to DIY - it is really Plug & Play..... laaaaa

We are retailing our Zoomlite HID bulb set at S$110 for bike & our current HID stock are spec at 6500kelvin - HID white color.

Bro.. I think you might have misunderstood the "Kelvins"... :cheeky:

Kelvins specifies the "colour" of the light not the brightness (I think 6500K should be white and maybe with a tinge of blue liao)

If you want very high Kelvins, you might end up with very blue or even purple lights that might not be effectively bright enuff at all... :cheeky:

Why would you go any higher than 6000K HID? even 6000K 35 watt only get 2800 bulb lumens. With 9000K you are only getting about 2300 bulb lumens. The lumens do go down the higher the K rating. There are NO exceptions to this fact. If any maker has told you otherwise, u shd doubt what they said. Only 4200K HID bulbs get 3200-3300 lumens which is the maximum 35 watt bulb lumens.

Hey............ maxipower ........ Your statement abt " The lumens do go down the higher the Kelvin rating " is correct. But the numbers U quoted are a little too lower ........ I dun have the exact figures on HIDs lumen to Kelvin rating yet - will post when I get them soon. At 2300 lumen which U quote is just on par or lower than a Halogen bulb, that is impossible - come view my 6500 kelvin HS-HID bulb brightness U will understand Y.

At Zoomlite, we onli make & stock HIDs at 6500kelvin, any higher rating will be custom made. For Halogen we stop at 4200 kelvin for maximium lumen performance.

:lovestruck: :lovestruck: :lovestruck:

Just a note to add - all HIDs maker compensate the higher kelvin rating wif a increase in watt - highest I heard currently now is 42watt HIDs. :cheeky: :giddy:

Highest kelvin rating currently in the market is 12,000 kelvin ( Purple color ). If your friend HID color is white then it should be onli 6500kelvin - at 8000-8500kelvin is it Blue color. And U R god dam ...........right HIDs are veri veri bright ................. :cheer: :cheer: :cheer:

my intention is not to blind others.....but to be more visible to other road user especially MPVs and SUVs....

I have quite a number of experience that my bike is not visible enuff to those big cars and they always swerve to our side which is extremely dangerous....

Don't pass pre-mature conclusion on my mentality....

Bikers are always at a risk of being ignore by drivers....to be more visible would do a whole lot good.....
