Errrm so far tak ada jerky move since my last full service by botak. Ohhh coz i go and see botak early in the morning usually his first or 2nd customer. Funny old chap la dia.. He always scold me lau tukar tanpa sebab and waste money. Anyway itz true la bak kata this idiom "If it ain't broken,dun fix it." LOL!!! Got once i change pipe to SBK at tai hin and gi tukar minyak kat botak. Baru sampai kena marah. Dia kata "asal tak mintak gua gi anu kan beli pipe baru leh dapat murah. Lu tak mau 50 lu kasi gua." He meant that i bought the pipe 800 whereas he can get cheaper for 750. haha but anyway he's a nice guy very funny LOL!!!

 

hahaha....dia pun quote aku 750....yet to buy it from him thou.....cos theres a possible of getting it cheaper from elsewhere. But any idea of how to get the brakes to werk??? The stocks sux big time..... change it to EBC pads but still not gd enuff. any ideas???

Part brake ni im not so sure tukar dia nya brake hose lining? Ntah im not too sure la bro. AKu ni baru nak berjinak jinak pasal gilera. Brb aku nak mandi la....

Just bring along ur warranty booklet to piaggio agent and they provide free acrylic petrol tank cover plus installation is free!!!!!!

i ride a 2nd hand gilera vxr 200 05 model.. i oni use for 1 mth n my bike cannot start for d 2nd time alrd.. wen i 1st bought from d shop, d bike cannot start also.. told by d mech got some problems on d wiring inside dat coz d battery cannot charge properly which i reli not sure wads d problem is.. so i need suggestions/advice on whether i shud tow my bike to my bike shop or send it to shops outside like taihin.. coz my bike shop reli have a very very very bad customer service.. and im not confident dat they can repair my bike properly.. how????

i would advice that you go to other bike shop...usually i'll go to AHM Performance..its at kaki bukit autobay..#02-46..gud service..and the price is right...u can try bro..a number of my gilera riding frens frequents the shop..gud luck..

Maybe starter relay. I go to Botak of Wonderful Motor at Macpherson; almost exclusively scooter mech.

fellow gilerians,

today after the heavy downpour...my bike feels weird...i trottle constantly but suddenly it will like jam like no fuel input after tat regain normal..my guess is tat water went into my fuel tank..but i oso haf another feeling tat my belt n stuff may be the cause as i bought tis bike at shop and i dunno whether they did service n change the belt for me anot..because if its water tat cause the prob den i might haf tis prob long ago as i park my bike outdoor...any1 has tis experience can give me some advise ?cause i dun wanna change all n service all which cause me a bomb...i wan noe the cause of the prob..will be grateful if sum experience ppl can help me out..maybe test ride?..thank you..jinghao 94872334

Part roller clip belting ni la lum cukup pandai....Im still newbie also. As for a/m service u said depends la see the shop. different shop quote different charges. As where to go or which shop to service depends on each individual. At kallang there's alot of workshop. But i seldom go there unless buy accessories. I always go to Mr Botak the wonderful man. The shop name is Wonderful Motor located at Mac Pherson. But be prepare... It took me 3 u-turn to find the shop. Located at back alley. Itz not a normal bike shop but LEGEND!!!!! HAHAHAHHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!! Im not promoting his shop though. But one think good about Mr Botakkkk...he always advice u not to change that or this since the parts still can be used.

 

There once i first time knw him ask about full service how much, kena scold leh.... he said "Lu mau murah lu gi kallang sana!" I was like "HUH?!" Just asking only mah - deep inside my heart. HEHEHEHEH. But overall he's a nice guy. Old school samseng!!! Very funny guy.

yeah man..i faced the same problem too before i got the acrylic fuel cap cover..now ok already..

But still the best way is to cover ur whole bike whenever u park outdoors..

I was told thaty EBC pads are not able to last long.. thus i change my pad back to stock. can anyone confirm the durability of ebc

Hi ppl,

 

I got into an accident lately and i need some parts to patch up my bike.

My bike is the Gilera Runner 06 Version 4 stroke

- Short windscreen

- Seat Handle AKA box bracket

And the handlebar was slighty twisted to the Left.

Can anyone advise me on what i should do?

 

Sourcing for them 2nd hand!

dude check ur carb if have any water drain out and sld flush ur tank if the thing continues...if the tank cover for some mayb kinda x cld find n o-ring to seal the gap on ur tank cap k..i been tru it so tat my advice k..
