Hi peeps, was intending to get a Gilera VXR, but after reading many reviews posted, was skeptical in getting one. One question i would like to ask is...The pipe is mounted onto the swingarm of the bike. Would that cause the pipe to crack and break after a period of time due to the movement of it? Anyone experienced this b4?

Posted

nope never heard about crack or stuff, unless went into accident.

try thinking this way. If i ask u not to walk or run or anything using your legs for 1 mth. then 1 mth later i ask u go sprint. wad will happen ?

Not anything major i could think of aside from bird poopies, leaves everywhere and slight difficulty in starting the engine. Do canvas your runner if you don't want it to brave the wind and shine and poopies. Disconnect your battery if u have to, when u return just give it more time to warm up to get the oil circulation back and ride off slowly.

Oh, and SUMMONS. very important if you are not parking at private estate or season parking lot . Do not forget this!

For maintenance wise, i guess it's very hard to judge whether it's expensive or not..different people will have a different perspective on this issue. Different bike, different maintenance..:)
